I wish to extend the prayers from we northern Mustang brothers to our southern ones facing yet another terrible test with hurricane Milton approaching. We hope you and your families will be safe. It's frightening to watch from our safe living rooms the lengthy freeway lines leading to safety and the fear of losing homes so soon after Helene. While it was sad for me to see a beautiful red Mustang convertible partially buried in sand near the beach in Florida on several news reports, after recent hurricane Helene I hope the owners were safe. Cars, even our beloved Mustangs, can be replaced whereas you, our southern brothers, can not. Yes, on most car forums members tease each other a bit from time to time but when all is said and done we are all brothers and sisters who love cars, boats anything mechanical. May those of you in harm's way make it safely through this latest test of humanity and may your Mustangs accompany you. Here's a prayer that the you all are well and that Milton dies out at sea.

I am maybe 100 miles south of predicted landfall, probably less.

I am far enough inland so I am not concerned with storm surge, but we have prepared for the storm ( as we did for Ian 2 years ago) and hopefully we will come out on the other side with minimal damage

The cars and bikes are tucked away in the garage, I have my generators ready to go, enough gas to run them for a week

we'll just strap in and go for the ride....

That means you can keep the "Salt Life" stickers on your car... 😜

I'm in Jacksonville. Fortunately, all we're forecasted to get is wind and rain, and work is closed through Thursday, possibly Friday, with pay, and my liquor cabinet is fully stocked.

I'm in Tamarac, which is ~250 south of where the storm's going to make landfall. Also far from the coast. I'm squared away for the most part, but don't have a gennie. I have my flashlights ready.

Survived Helene down here in WNC. Many did not.

Praying for those getting hit again down in FL.

Stay safe down there Mustang Bros and Gals!!!

I've got the news playing in the background while WFH today and sounds like it's getting pretty nasty down there! Thoughts are with you folks!

I'm in Eastern NC. Glad to hear you made it safe in WNC. It will never be the same place there with all of the roads being washed away along with peoples houses & business'. Very sad!

Keeping Florida in my thoughts and prayers!
I'm Law Enforcement here. It's not good here.

I'm in Palm Beach Gardens and so far just a little wind with a few tornado warnings mainly over by Lake Okeechobee, not much rain here near the coast. Mustang is tucked away nice and dry in the garage.
