On this particular car I wouldn't worry about losing equity. However, on a basic Dark Horse anyone who pays an ADM is making a very big mistake, very big.

Not factoring the "backend" part of the deal most dealers will be breaking even after the allocation fee. Unless they are ordering a highly spec'd vehicle which at that point they will make a small profit. Very strange practice from Ford to basically ensure dealers will be passing that allocation fee onto the customer.
