Guides on reverse camera s650 gt auto MY25

I have just bought a 2025 gt auto. I'm very happy with it but have noticed the reverse guides lines on the reverse camera are missing. Does anyone else have this? I have been told by the mechanic it's been deleted.

They may reappear on next restart, at least ours did.

wait, sorry. We have a ‘24 and had the same issue recently which magically resolved itself upon the next restart.

Yeah it's shown in the manual. No mention of deletes. I've sent an email to Ford asking if the 25s have had this deleted. Thinking maybe the mechanic has just fobbed me off in the too hard basket. I've read some threads on damaged cables to the camera during install that fixed the issue.

I had this happen one time in my 24' GT. Started and turned off a couple times in a row and they came back. Hasn't happened since.

I seldom use the back up camera so I don't even know about the lines.

I learned to drive a car when people had to learn to drive a car in order to get a driver's license.

I was sure that the lines are there on my 2025 GT, but I just checked. Yep, they are there.

there is an option to turn them off. Somewhere in driver aid if i remember correctly

The dealer said the same thing but then after the first maintenance check told me it had been deleted for the 25s.
I get it that ford got rid of the wireless charger to save some money.. and this is mentioned but nothing on the reverse camera guides which are arguably a safety feature.
