OP added more pictures since the thread was posted. based on the bolted on rear fender flares and holes where a wing would be mounted on the trunk, im guessing this is an old pre-production unit they just never took the camo off. probably those other reasons tooFrom my friend that is a designer at Chrysler:
The camo is designed to mess with camera lenses. The goal is to not see these cars in the magazines. The car you saw may have design features that are not known yet. Hard to say but camo is hard to remove and underneath may be mismatched panels or poor paint.
I know Ford & other manufactures have used Hoosier pass between Breckenridge and Fairplay & Mount Evans and Pikes Peak Roads as their high altitude test drive.i dont get why the camo at this point
