Folding Mirrors?

I'm just learning about my '26 GT that I bought a month ago. A question I have is, are the exterior mirrors on my 401 Premium Package supposed to have the automatic folding option? How would I know? And if it doesn't have the automatic folding option, can they be turned in manually or are they fixed? Sorry for the newbie question! I'm learning.

They ‘automatically’ fold when bumped or nudged aggressively (aka manual fold) but otherwise not an electronic controlled function outside of some non-us models.

It’s optional in South Korea and available as electronic folding, by the way I am not from Korea or living there

All European Mustangs have auto fold mirrors but not in North America.

US Mustangs only have manual folding mirrors. Just push the outer edge in toward the side window and in will fold. It will pop right back when you push it out again.

That seems to go against what other comments are saying. Other are saying that the mirrors don't close at all. Now I'm really confused.

They do close. Just not automatic.

Who is saying they dont close at all?

Only difference is automatic and manual. Nothing posted has conflicted with that.
