My bro has them for his gt500… one of the first things he did was take them off the car and put on reps from lmr.
Now they just sit in the corner of the basement, pristine for the 2nd owner.

Kind of a waste to spend the money on then.
Even If he sells the car in the future, I really don't think anyone is going to give a premium price for the DH just because of the Carbon wheels.

That price is a bitter pill, but not unrealistic. I paid 3200 for a pair of c/f wheels for one of my bikes a few years back.
