Speculating...

In Apr/May, several posted articles highlighted Ford QC issues and holds on Production for:

- Body panel alignment
- Electronics
- Valves within the Gen 4 V-8

Could be a software mistake, a leftover from Test, R&D, when Ford was working through their issues.

That’s what happened too Ducati on the 2023 streetfigher V4 it’s a mid model year refresh. New tank, faster Ecu, updated quick shifter. Ducati released the bikes and had a bug that keep the active exhaust valve closed in 2nd gear “ fly by noise regulations, wink wink” and would result in the bike going into limp mode because of an implausibility. Because the exhaust valve is supposed to be open and with it being closed, they choked out the bikes causing limp mode. Ducati went rut roe and sent out a patch to dealers a month later. It would not surprise me if this is a similar situation.

Perhaps it’s a software issue related to that?
Shift light you didn’t know you wanted…..
But you’re right we really do need someone to get a real log or video of it at 7250rpm

…. and lastly noise regulations.
Unless you live at, near or under a track wot noise should not be a concern.

edit: removed double comment.
