So last Sunday I was driving home after my usual trip to the outdoor mall for a Cinnabon and an eyeful, and I saw an absolute mint s197 Bullitt. Real cherry. Of course WPB Sunday afternoon traffic was being its usual self but after some maneuvering I finally got up to him, dropped down to third and buzzed him. No reaction whatsoever. It was an old guy and I don't mean old like me; I mean old like in his 70's. He probably saw Bullitt in the theaters when it came out and then either bought a Dark HIghland GT or had his painted to match. His wife was with him and maybe she'd sucked the life out of him (not in the good way) as is their wont.

Never got a light against him and eventually he turned into a high-end community. I can only imagine the carbon that would fly out the stock tailpipes of that thing to put a diesel to shame if I could spend just a few minutes with it. I promise to be obnoxious until I fall over and hopefully it will be either driving my car, working on it or walking the 'yard looking for some parts.

Or maybe he was just of sufficient intelligence to ignore your demonstration.

Seriously acting like a 10 year old doesn't impress people, of course he didn't react, he probably never even noticed you

I want to die peacefully in my sleep.
Not screaming in fear like my passengers.
