About to tackle my HP Splitter install this weekend, any tips?

Bought a HP Splitter kit like 3 months ago from Ford for my non-HP DH and I'm finally going to get around to installing it this weekend. I've read all the horror stories and am preparing myself for the worst, any tips before exposing my 14 year old son/assistant to language he doesn't need to hear, lol?

I“ll install mine too this weekend. Along with the OEM HP rear Spoiler. I don‘t think is too hard, you will need to be patient and a seems that a couple of helping hands will make a huge difference.

Remember; throwing hand tools is a perfectly acceptable difficult project substitute "Pro Technique" to unChristianly language.

Just don't hit anything valuable with them.
