We Need some advice from anyone who’s dealt with 2M Fab headers. Ever since installing them, I’ve had a few issues. I had a vibration that got much better after balancing the wheels, but the steering still feels lighter, less sharp, and a little loose compared to before. I also had to install an aftermarket steering shaft for clearance.
Another issue is the passenger-side A/C line. It’s rubbing or vibrating against the header. They installed engine mount spacers, but the A/C line is still extremely close.
Do you guys think the steering feel could just be from the alignment? I already had it aligned to OEM specs. The only thing different is that I’m running a drag pack on the rear.
At this point, I’m wondering if I should switch to Kooks headers. Do you think Kooks would solve these clearance issues, or could I end up with the same problems if my engine isn’t perfectly centered from the factory? or if there’s any way to keep the same headers and resolve the vibration?
What would you guys recommend for the A/C line and the steering feel? Any experience with this setup would be appreciated. Thanks!
