Decided to ask my dealer for an update - I leave the poor guy alone because Ford tells him nothing and I hate being a pain

Anyway I think my car may have shipped

- I have a VIN which is no surprise given Ford sent me an email saying car was built and on the way to Baltimore Port
- I’ve been told I have a ship allocated - Morning Lisa
- Ship departed Baltimore on July 2 so I suspect I’m on that
- put my order no. and VIN on Ford tracking but it gave me nothing

Not getting my hopes up but may see it delivered in September

Any thoughts or advice to confirm?

I received a status date: 1/7 Vista screen shot, so its fairly recent.
It looks like I am somewhere in between Frostee & 5.0ALM

Segmentation date: 20/6
Gate Release: 26/6
Compound entry: 1/7
ETA: 15/10 (Vic)

Strange thing is my vehicle status is: 'Entry' & Location: Baltimore

So with my Compound entry being 1/7, does that mean it could be on the same ship as Frostee that left on 2/7?

Or is it more likely it will sit there and go onto the next ship with 5.0ALM, because there was no Vessel Name noted yet..

Thoughts anyone?

Looking at the timeline for some of the others that have made it onto a boat, there seems to be a couple of weeks from Compound Entry until they get on a boat, so I think getting on the 2nd July sailing might be a bit hopeful - personally I'd love to see it though because my car was built the same date as yours, so if yours makes it onto the boat, every chance mine is there too.

Yes, I wasn’t confident it got onto a boat so quickly since my eta didn’t change from 15/10.

But I had no idea of a general timeframe from compound entry to getting on a boat, so thanks for sharing your observation.

I think compound entry is at Baltimore waiting to be loaded on next available ship. In my case my compound date was 13 june but I missed the Aniara which sailed june15 but I made it onboard Morning Lisa sailing 1 july. Hopefully your onboard 18 July.

When I asked my dealer if there was an updated ETA now that it has been built, he just said "Quarter 4 is the advice I have from Ford at the moment."

Got me thinking - is it going to be a free-for-all for dealers to deliver cars as soon as they land, or are Ford going to hold all the earlier arrivals back until some "Release Date", or have an official Oz launch???

I've been told it Ford will hold them until a particular release date, don't take that as gospel though.

Hi all I have jumped on here to monitor the delivery of my 2024 Grabber Blue Base GT Six Speed. I just received an email from Ford Australia, my build date was the 3rd of July after putting my order in on November 2023.

So after a US car is built, the windows sticker can be retrieved here https://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=xxxxxxx where xxxxxxxx is the VIN.

Its not working yet for my VIN so I assume its only a US car specific thing? Has anyone else been able to get an electronic copy of their windows sticker?

I think it is for US cars.

I was just advised by Ford that my Dark Horse will be ready to collect at an agreed date after the 26th of August. Finally abit of good news but I'm anticipating some sort of delay as it sounds abit too good to be true.
