my 2024 GT AC went out. first the drivers side got hot and passenger side stayed cool when both sides set to Low. Then passenger side got cooler than driver, but still very warm. I had a '16 GT 6mt convertible and they replaced the entire AC compressor on that when it was about 18 months old. Dealer has now has the car for two weeks and said that it needs a new accumulator and then it was 7 days out. That 7 days ended last Thursday. I gave back the rental today, as I will be travelling and told the dealer i will be back to pick up the car on 7/14. They said hopefully they will have the part by then, if not they will send someone to pick me up and put me in another rental care of Ford.
I do have Ford ESP with same day rental on the car, which normally covers the first 10 days of rental for any warranty repair.
Has anyone else had this problem and delay in dealership getting parts? The car has 14,797 MILES on it.
Thanks
