I've been a #2 Penske fan since the days of Rusty Wallace, but this team has really slid into irrelevance since the change over to Cindric.

Didn't NASCAR recently introduce some proper road course (not just circles) racing on the infield at certain tracks?

Road Course Racing is more REAL RACING and better than roundy round but still boring when all cars are identical and the corners are traffic jams??

What do you call Watkins Glen and Sonoma, where NASCAR has raced for decades? And yes they have added the Indy road course, COTA, the ROVAL at Charlotte, Road America, streets of Chicago and others in recent years. I think they have a pretty good mix of Oval and Road Courses. Of course they also raced at Riverside since the 50's till it closed.

Yes and I'm glad they did. Even seeing those big cars lumber around a road or street course is way more interesting than going in circles every Sunday. I.cant even watch the ovals anymore. The roval at Charlotte is one of my favorite races on the schedule. But Indycar is way more fun to watch than NASCAR IMO.

Interesting, did not know that (re: racing at WG and Sonoma). As much as I love cars, HPDEs, go-karting, and racing games I never got into most forms of professional racing as a spectator sport for whatever reason.
