That is correct. But if it falls off precipitately after the cross over it’s akin to driving in overdrive.

never too much torque? But i’ll agree to agree. horsepower is a byproduct of torque over time.
The drop in power after 5252rpm is dependant on torque curve though. Both my VW EA888 engines had a flat torque "curve" to 6000 rpm. If you extend that torque figure to 7k or 8k you'll continue to make more power.

Use not make. But for the most part we’re splitting hairs on the angels counted on the head of that pin over there. Is a honda a high revving low torque (relative) design?

Make. The engine is making power by using fuel and air. Source - Pedants R Us.
Once the hp exceeds trq the majority of the application goes toward use as opposed to make. Yes, an air pump that doesn’t necessarily need combustion to maintain momentum (hence magnetic attraction of ev) but that’s another discussion and different measurement?

OK, this is getting quite esoteric. And, it's Monday and I didn't have a good nights sleep.
Are you saying something like, a supercharger uses power from the engine to make more power?

Use over time (although depends there may be drag to the boost) but it aint monday here yet so gonna have to see how much use over time the horse is gonna be able to do. (Sorry, just started rolling write on out lol).

Yes, you are correct too much horsepower is almost enough (as long as those horses are actually able to carry and not just run).

True but, the Mustang Draught Horse just doesn't have the same ring to it.
