    Yes there is a post that states as much, and I've seen many more stating they dont overheat in a typical HDPE session.     The DH has a diff cooler, a transmission cooler, and an additional oil cooler like the Mach 1 and the GT350 track pack. Road course days are the reason you buy a DH over a GT. Im sure the DH will last longer than a GT.

    Yikes i didn't realize it was a 2 minute lap. Thats not good. Typically was taking S550s about 15 minutes to hit limp mode if i recall.

    A lot of the time, the temp issues are with the transmission or rear diff. Both of which have coolers on the Dark Horse. I think the DH also has an additional oil cooler. The temp issue is common, the S550 was the same way, the GT PP would not get a full 20 minute HDHP session without going...

    People ask why choose a Dark Horse over a GT, and it's because if you want to go to a road course stock, the DH will not overheat. If you plan to mod it, i think either are fine, but goes to show a DH is not just a GT with a badge.

    I really am curious what you mean by this. The Coyote has a ton of high rpm horsepower. Its not going to feel like a torque monster down low. But it should feel very quick, it will be MUCH quicker stock for stock than you 79 400 TA.

    Buying a DH for 0-60 times is a head scratcher. A base GT with no options except 10r80 is going to produce the best 0-60 and quarter on power to weight ratio. It also will not stand up to constant flogging on a road course without going into limp mode, nor will it match a Dark Horse lap time...

    I keep seeing people mention FP mustangs, the Mach 1 was not a FP mustang either, and the DH is a direct evolution of that. As long as you have realistic expectations of an evolved Mach 1 on pretty much the same base chassis, you should be pleased. I know that is what I am looking for.
