It's OK, definitely not enough to get me to even start considering parting with my 50 year appearance package. Very surprised that they did nothing with the seats... that is one of my favorite aspects of the 50year.
Everything said here. The 5.2 FPC is a special motor IF it has the reliability to back it up. Would love to see Ford invest in this, but unfortunately do not see it happening.
You can like it all you want, but your opinion does not trump mine where my preferences are concerned... I prefer things to flow and integrate naturally, not be stuck on like an afterthought. The subject is about the interior design, not the performance. I am sure it will perform very well, no...
Unfortunately it is probably not going to happen. Another related point, the current line of infotainment is designed for the current crop of mobile technology, but what happens when that technology evolves (faster than the car tech)? I enjoy the connectivity of the integrated Android Auto, if...
To me, this looks terrible. I am OK with screens to an extent but to just stick them on there and not integrate seamlessly into the dash just does not work. I think this will provide a more seamless transition between the IC and the electric one from an interior design perspective which may be...
In previous launches Ford did not announce the final specs for HP/Torque until shortly before the actual sell date, within 1 month. I would expect the same here.
I do have to admit that I am benefitting from the recent uptick in value especially for used cars. Someone rear-ended my 50th APP convertible, causing over $17k in damage. Because the used car market is so hot, it is fixable instead of a total. Thankfully the damage is not to the frame, which...
At launch, the S550 was well under $50k, if I recall you did not eclipse $50k except with the 50th LE and the GT350. Base GT was low $30k and premium was high $30k, fully loaded around $46-47k if I recall correctly... Obviously price increases have pushed it there, but sales have precipitously...
Exactly! I loved the 2005 and 2015 at first sight! The 2010/2011 design was a step backward in my view, and the 2013 was a step forward again. The 2018 refresh was very neutral, but a slight step backwards from the original s550. This one does not do it for me.
This is very good and bad for me. I kinda like the lower fascia, but the grill opening with what seems to be a bezel looks terrible in my view. Will have to see the whole car, but for me I will not plan on selling my 2015 which I still love to get this.
I don't buy into the argument that EV are "faster than ICE" either. Sure, that is fine. But driving is the experience. I like to row my own gears and hear the authentic engine rev. If someone else is capable of getting from A to B faster than me, not a problem for me. I will enjoy the trip.
Yes!! I loved the S197 from day 1 as well, but also love the S550 (2015) which is why it was ordered so early, perfect evolution of muscle and style in my opinion. If the S197 had the IRS and interior of the '15 then I may have ended up with an end of production one of those instead. Not a...
To be clear, I am not against Ford making a two seater, or even making a version of the Mustang that is a two seater (extending it to a performance brand rather than a model, which they seem intent to do). But the Mustang lineup should include something that is capable of transporting 4, even...
There are many people that use the back seats. You are arguing from your specific experience to the general. Mustang in its current form sells well compared to the smaller and lighter Camaro partly because it is more livable. Through the past 5 years and 50,000 miles, my backseat (and trunk...
honestly not a fan, looks too much of the Civic with the large vents under the headlights. I personally think that looks tacky, like an aftermarket front valence that is trying to look aggressive but failing. Just my opinion of course.
Could not agree more. My cousin was just at the Scottsdale Barrett Jackson auction and bought a 69 fastback and 70 Mach 1 428. Both are amazing, my favorite two body styles to date!
