  1. 2024 Mustang Owner's Manual Released

THANKS !! You do a great job keeping us informed, greatly appreciated Rocket!
  2. 2024 Mustang GT/EcoBoost Performance Track Testing: 0-60 MPH, 1/4 Mile, Braking & Skid Pad

Yep there is no comparision with the 10 Sp Auto - "0-60 mph in under four seconds" Faster Than You Can Read This Headline: New Mustang GT Can Go 0-to-60 MPH in Less Than Four Seconds | Ford Media Center
  3. 2024 Mustang GT/EcoBoost Performance Track Testing: 0-60 MPH, 1/4 Mile, Braking & Skid Pad

That seems way too slow, and slower than the existing Gen 3 Coyote V8 - like it has not been run-in (mine was way down on power and performance until I ran-it in). Remember this for the 2018 release, with the then new 10 Sp Auto ?: "0-60 mph in under four seconds" Faster Than You Can...
  4. Brochures

Ford are also ending Digital PDF Brochures.
  5. Brochures

I think you are probably 100% spot-on with the Supply Chain uncertainties, and the problem of unreliable availability of some features - requiring temporary unplanned changes to specs & features. It happened here in Australia, and Ford were stung with big fines when the Mach-1 arrived, and it...
  6. Brochures

This relates to ALL Brochures - it is not just about physical Paper Brochures (which can be recycled anyway) - it is also PDF form "Ford brochures of all shapes and sizes, including print and digital versions, are expected to be completely discontinued" - There will be NO Brochures of any kind...
  7. Brochures

Its anything but a positive marketing step - removing the only official summary of Features and Specs of their products, is not a productive and open strategy or method of communicating with your potential customers or the market. Their unwillingness to produce a brochure looks as if they have...
  8. S650 Information from ECat (Electronic Catalog) – Part Numbers, Technical Specs, Hidden Features

Thanks Rocket, always better to have an Audio System with some quality and grunt, AND at least I will be able to blow my speakers out now - if I am ever stupid enough ! lol
  9. S650 Information from ECat (Electronic Catalog) – Part Numbers, Technical Specs, Hidden Features

Thanks for the Info Rocket, however it seems the Sequential Tail Lights are not happening for our "Export" 2024 Mustangs :(
  10. S650 Information from ECat (Electronic Catalog) – Part Numbers, Technical Specs, Hidden Features

Apparantly replaces the conventional Vacuum Brake Booster & Master Cylinder with electronic sensors and an electric hydraulic pump.
  11. S650 Information from ECat (Electronic Catalog) – Part Numbers, Technical Specs, Hidden Features

Thanks, ..............but ...........Oh NO! It will be Harder to blow out our speakers !! lol! Although its a "worst case" contingency plan, its not hugely encouraging in the context of a possible worsening supply chain scenario. Anyway I found the Option number = 17V, on P.2 of the Price...
  12. S650 Information from ECat (Electronic Catalog) – Part Numbers, Technical Specs, Hidden Features

Agreed ....Look...." Essentially, a brake-by-wire system controls the brakes electronically. A position sensor monitors (ahhhhh!) how far the driver has pushed the brake pedal, which is used to determine the amount of braking force requested. A control unit (ahhhhh!) then determines how much...
  13. S650 Information from ECat (Electronic Catalog) – Part Numbers, Technical Specs, Hidden Features

Thanks, some great info, greatly appreciated! Could you shed some light on how we can identify or know if we get the "Reduced Capacity Amplifier" , and how can we ensure we DO NOT get it when ordering ?
  14. S650 RIGHT HAND DRIVE MUSTANG PROTOTYPE SPOTTED TESTING

Like these...although personally. i doubt Ford would go to the trouble and expense of making bespoke or Pre-Production Taillights for the Australian Mustang S/C if they were inconsistent with the planned Australian (Export) Market OEM Production Cars.
  15. Single exhaust tip standard on S650 GT

Probably another benefit of the "Quiet" Mode on the GT Active Exhaust - to meet EPA Regs.
  16. Single exhaust tip standard on S650 GT

Yes I see what you mean - production chrome angular tips, would indicate the final product here.
  17. Single exhaust tip standard on S650 GT

Regarding the exhausts, we in Aust have had the Active Exhausts as standard since the MY18, and are a massive improvement over the previous single exhaust model in every respect. However my only gripe is you cannot set the "Sport" mode to default, requiring you to reset it each time you start...
  18. Single exhaust tip standard on S650 GT

Although these are Pre-Production Test Cars (therefore not the final product), I was puzzled by the Single Exhaust too, and just discovered from Ace, they are only temporary, for EPA Testing - "PEMS (Portable Emission Measurement System), not the real exhaust". (30) S650 RIGHT HAND DRIVE...
  19. S650 RIGHT HAND DRIVE MUSTANG PROTOTYPE SPOTTED TESTING

That is my point ie "I doubt they would have developed a completely unique light set up including sequential turn signals if they just wanted to get the test cars out. Then the car would have just use the US rearlights." They probably just used the existing or easily accessible Tail Lights on...
