Dealing with Ford, and Farley through the fiasco they called the Bronco, I found that Farley is all talk and no walk. Never depend, or believe anything he says.
You can buy a spare tire kit for the car at a much better price than what Ford list on the order guide. I ordered one from a Ford dealer (can't remember the dealer, but I found them with a google search) before the car arrived at my dealer. I saved some bucks that way.
When you get yours from Zach, just drive 'er down to that dealer, and wave at them as you pass by the sales floor window. That should get 'em. :)
Good luck on your DH. As the late great Tome Petty said, "The waiting is the hardest part".
Here's the way it is in North Carolina. My wife's 2018 Mustang GT cost more to insure than my 2019 Corvette Grand Sport and we're both well over 25 years old. Nope, I don't understand it at all.
I'm thinking Ford is pandering to the younger generations that have grown up with IPads, and smartphones surgically attached to there hands. You know the ones I mean, the ones that can't afford to buy a Mustang yet. Ford seems to have lost it's way since Farley took over.
I ask the same question my friend. Zach said the offer will run until at least the end of '23. The offer is 2% below invoice for the GT, and I assume the Ecoboost car. The Black Horse will be sold at MSRP. There is also a $1000 non-refundable deposit at time of order.
I look at the "drift brake" this way. That funtion alone should allow for a great deal of used factory parts for those that need something for their S650. I can just see some drunk, no driving idiot yelling to his friends, "Hey y'all, watch this". :bandit:

The wife's '18 GT has ACC, and it just adjust the speed to match the car in front of you. Thankfully it doesn't read the speed limit sign, and adjust the speed. I not exactly sure what the term "stop sign recognition" actually means to Ford. The Nav system on our '18 will show the speed limit of...
I'm just happy Ford isn't using that "Piano Black" crap on the 650 like they did on the 550. That stuff scratches when you looks at it. I have a hell of a time with it on the wife's '18.
If history repeats itself, we can wait a while and find a set of Bronze wheels for sale on FB Marketplace, or Craigslist. Someone will buy a lot Mustang with the broze package, not like the wheels, buy a set of aftermarket wheels, and sale the bronze wheels for cheap.
The wife loves her GT convertibles, and they always have to be that shade of red. So, that convertible pictured will be the car she orders.
2013 Red Candy
2018 Ruby Red
Insert 2024 Rapid Red here. :)
Hit the nail dead on the head my friend. Ford, and the others have come up with many ways to generate revenue, and I'm sure this is no different. My wife's '19 GT has the active exhaust, and then it was a $995 option. Of course the price is up now, and I'm sure it will be higher when the '24...
I agree the base Mustang can be a little bland. I'm sure Ford, as usual, wants to keep the price down for those that don't want/need all the bells, and a whistles. And of course they make a good entry Mustang. However, to me they are basically like a blank canvas. Just starting with a nice set...
Like others I'm not too happy with the "let's just slap the screens on the front of the dash, and be done. It's break time" idea. Heck, I'm older than most here, and probably won't utilize the screens to their fullest anyway. But, I know I'm not the demographic Ford had in mind when the screens...
@jgilkey It's easy, I bought my GM plastic car out of state. Granger will give you all of the paperwork necessary to get your car registered in your state. You just take it to your local DMV office (I know, if yours is like mine that's an adventure in itself :) ), you'll pay the taxes, and they...
@Zach@Granger Zach my friend, Jim (Wanted33 also) from the Bronco6G forum. Since the Bronco didn't work out it seems my dearest has decided to spend that money for her new S650, so I'm happy I found you here. Now, I'm hoping the Mustang Plant doesn't fall into the same black hole the Bronco...
