Oh come on, that is absolutely not true at all. A loaded S550 is nearly $64,000. A convertible is even worse!
I don't know you got that figure from, because I remember my 2017 GT PPP 401A being the most loaded possible and mine was just below $48,000. $47,610.
I called this 3-4 years ago, when...
2013 Ford Mustang (2012)
I hated the non-Recaro seats in the second refresh S197 Mustang from May 2012 to 2014, preferring the older ones that lasted from late '04 at S197 intro to April 2012. I hated the new headrests, as I did in the 2012 F-150.

When I was in Allen Park and Dearborn for the reveal, I saw quite a few prototypes, it was like a dream. Got into a bit of a chase with an S650 test driver, around Ford's Allen Park office, but chickened out for fear of trespassing accusations. I also probably captured the first spy shots of the...
The problem is it would take at least 3 years for this to come market. Halfway through the cycle, if Ford agreed to do it now ASAP. That's what sucks. This is so well done, on the level of how congruent this looked like in 1963.
It's too late now, as any 4 door would be EV.
They drew this...
If D5 was adapted into a sedan like this..., but oh well. Porsche did a really great job with the second generation Panamera as a 4 door 911. First gen was ugly, but current version fixed many wrongs.
This is well executed by the artist and I am usually cynical over these, as being useless...
:clap:Typically I hate over the top looking race cars, but this is perfect. I resented the changes to the now 2D tails, but this fixes them for me.
This car is hot and if I get an S650, I'm going to replicate this as best as possible per mods.:sunglasses:
This is the first thing S650 I've seen...
Yeah, I do believe they have levels to credit on a team project. The exterior proposal likely was Aiden, but the concept for it is possibly Chris.
I remember that someone had chief responsibility for the S550, while Kemal Curic was responsible for the sketch in 2010 and then became in charge...
This happens more often than not. I would say maybe Chris is the chief designer of the whole S650, whereas maybe Aiden Lee is just the exterior designer or design manager on a junior level.
They make the wording on these positions so interchangeable, my head spins often.
I was right about leaking Aiden Lee being lead exterior designer on this. Looks like the final design is about 2 years old, which is par for lead time, but excessive for a reworked car.
I don't see why it requires 3 years to still go from final body approval to showrooms.
I had mentioned S650...
Oh man, that's too bad. I almost wasn't going to make it at all, but I guess had to do it for once.
Oh and thanks!!!! I'll try to upload any photos here, if possible.
Couldn't drive in the Stampede:frown:, as it's just too far away for me in SW, but I'll definitely be flying in tomorrow and praying for no flight delays to DTW.🤞🤞
I am hoping there are no leaks today, but don't count on it. I got to give it to Joy and Jim Farley, as they know how to keep it as...
@chazcron has done their damndest in creating the closest rendering to the real deal, but I got to say it's some nonsense how the greater online public continually prove to be uber obtuse and stubborn with their ignorance.
Ford has really done a good job keeping it under wraps.
Excellent eye as always! Ford designed the 2013 model during early design development for the S550, which was finished by the summer of 2010 ('13 model). They started on the 2013 model at the same time as S550 in 2009.
They deliberately made it a precursor of where they intended to go in some...
Yes, welcome back friend! We missed you! Really hard to come by Intel on S650, as someone high up at Ford has a strongly vested interest in keeping it totally under wraps.
The real mystery like the S550, is the rear. You were the one and only to get that right that back in 2013. No one else, NO...
There is plenty of outdated info on the web, particularly being that the last time this car was a 2021 vehicle, it was on CD6 still.
However, unless they are referring to a "2021" project of theirs, then everything quickly makes sense.
This doesn't even mention that it will be built in Mexico...
