thanks roadpilot, just checked out your build thread and i love what you did to your DH. Excited to get to drive one in October when i go down to the Ford mustang experience thing.
never used a tender. anyone have a suggestion? something i'd leave connected to the battery and like snake out through the grille or something? It sat from october to february and fired right up, didnt think something like this would be needed.
As for moving the hardwire, can anyone with a...
Me again. I used the fuse for the rear power windows, which seems to be hot all the time, and set the detector to power off after 1 hour of being still.
Car was dead today, no lights, no response from fob. hasnt been driven in a couple of weeks. It seems there is a parasitic draw from my...
Most of the miles seem to be backing it out of the garage to do garage things so its stays clean, then putting it back and then noticing it got dirty while out so backing it out to clean it to put it back in....etc.
Thank you all. the LMR site is were i found the pic i pasted in. Those two arrows were marked as the door windows.
I appreciate the feedback, and I will look into a 2 separate solutions once the cobra kicks it, but its been pretty solid so far. But, i got the car first of october and just...
@sicksix
Can you tell me which product on that amazon page you used? Micro2? They just look too wide for either of these slots (power windows, left and right). Not disbeleiving you, just only want to order once!
Edit** I also have the rear window fuses available as well, but they are lower...
Thank you for the post! A couple of questions: is your car a coupe? My overhead mirror housing looks a bit different on the convertible, but it could be angles and such.
Second, do you know how much power tapping that line will safely draw? The road scout being combination dash cam and radar...
Can you confirm those blade fuse types actually fit? I have a whole "multi pack" of taps like that, and when i pulled a fuse out (either size) neither had blades like that. its a cartrdige.
Hey stang fam, I bought the hardwire kit for my Cobra Road Scout dashcam/radar and ran the wire from the unit under the mirror and around to the passenger footwell fuse box. Got it opened only to discover none of the usual fuse taps or add a fuse i've used in the past will work on the H style...
All the ones on ford.com are listed as made by CoverKing: https://accessories.ford.com/mustang-2024-coverking%C2%AE-full-vehicle-indoor-cover-for-gt-convertible-with-performance-pack-low-spoiler-gray-with-red-f-vrr3z19a412d
Thats the one i am considering. And yes, valid points on proper usage...
Looking for a cover for my convertible GT. The Ford website has the CoverKing brand (indoor, I'm not a savage) and I have enough "ford points" to buy it, but I could also use those for other things if the group here things the CoverKing is either 1-overpriced substantially or 2-better options...
Huh. Thanks. Looks like they skimped out on that. I guess, unlike my fusion Energi...I generally know if this thing starts if im close enough to use the remote by feeling the walls rattle.
Hi all,
I noticed that remote starting i dont get the green/red LED flash at the top of the fob. I see the little slot where the light either is and isnt working, or is on other models and they didnt bother to change the fob.
Anyone else get the green/red on the fob for remote start confirm/fail?
Sure, this is possible but not like i leave it on the dash. Door pocket. But, im pretty sure if its forced open itll at least alarm if not disable start. Been doing this every day since 1992 and not had an issue.
