I do wonder if that might change for the 486 HP GT with the Active Exhaust. It would be interesting if the approximately 20 HP jump would necessitate the change from recommended to required. I guess the limit has to be somewhere.

Upon closer inspection, no. The only change appears to be color accented front leather trimmed seats. It also looks like you can order most parts of the 401A package as separate options.

The standard “leather” is leather trimmed front seats with vinyl back seats. The vinyl is good quality if it’s the same that they put in my 2019 Expedition, but some prefer leather.

The security package is nice to have as well.

I liked the leather, memory seat function, digital display with horizontal RPM garage, adaptive cruise, and pony projection lamps on my S550. It’s not necessary, but certainly nice to have.

I guess I’m the only one that’s super pumped that the Mini Spare is standard on the GT…

I just bought a 2023 F-150 for A/Z plan. It was 10% off MSRP and 4% off invoice.

I’m looking around for another ‘89 or ‘90 GT in white with the turbines so I guess I don’t remember hating it so much!

Once upon a time, I had the turbines so I like them more than most. I’m also a fan of the two tone paint. Not sure how it would work on a S650, but you never know.

It’s all possible with existing engines and components. Plus, Dodge printed money doing this for the last decade with minimal investment. A man can dream, can’t he?
