I never said that the start stop always works. I have the start stop in my vehicle for 13 years now and I know that it mist meet criteria to let it work. That doesnt change the fact that a part that is used more often wears down quicker.
It's basic knowledge that parts wear and tear faster when using it more. No science needed for that.
The fact that you trust Ford engineers over basic knowledge is disturbing. Engineers are not hired to make a bullet proof tank. They are hired to make a car as cheap as possible and to make as...
Yeah each their own, I just gave my opinion.
I would only do stuff like this to an old beater car. Not to a brand new one. A brand new one must look crisp. The Mustang already suffers from panel gaps. I had a hard time searching the lot for 1 without any crazy gaps and I found one. Would never...
His previous panels looked alright.
I would never trade a brand new good looking panel to another panel that's not fitting wel.
Gives me the "I totalled my car and had to find a new bumper" vibe.
Here are some facts:
- Was the track in good condition?
Not optimal but it wasn't wet.
There was some rain and they waited until the track dried up. The track dried up and there were no pools or anything on the track during the laptime. However, the track was not super dry to get the full grip...
I actually like that the exhausts are black. I would have kept it like that. I understand it makes the car a bit dirty, but I still choose for that protection than coming with no protection.
That's very hard to do. The blank button is not a real button but it's part of a whole unit. Behind all the buttons you'll find 1 chip that knows where you press it. To utilize that button you need to program that chip, which is almost zero chance to do so.
It is quite disturbing if you look at the real reason why we Americans or Europeans think that Chinese products in general are crap.
Our thoughts are mostly not based on our personal experience, but what we read and the reason behind is economical and political.
China is economically a huge...
There are already comparable options at lower costs. A person in this topic posted a link to his emblems. They look exactly like OEM and 5x cheaper.
But that was not the discussion. It was about quality and overseas. The word overseas doesn't say anything about quality.
Ford has options. There are enough cheap options that have great quality overseas. Ford chose a different way. So it has nothing to do with cheap overseas labor.
Oh no, those are not for the 2024. They look for the S550. The GT emblem is totally different.
The link from the @UAS Guy was the best and you can't tell the difference at all. Like OEM and 5 to almost 6 times cheaper.
It sounds very disrespectful to say that things that are made overseas can't have good quality. Most of the quality cars in the world are made overseas.
For example, we always assume that Chinese products are crap. We have to change our brainwash minds, because most of the quality products are...
