  1. UPDATED: 5 Months Later - AWE SwitchPath Cat-Back Review (2024 Mustang GT)

I decided to come back and revisit my review of the AWE Switchpath on the 2024 Mustang GT after driving it for five months and a couple thousand miles. I am still loving this system, and I expect this exhaust will remain on my car as long as I own it. The sound at idle is the deep muscle car...
  2. My X-pipe to HH-pipe swap experience

Steeda’s dyno gives lower readings consistently when compared with other dynos. That’s why you can’t always compare numbers when run on different dynos.
  3. My X-pipe to HH-pipe swap experience

True, but the difference is almost insignificant and small enough that the results could be different from one run to the next.
  4. Windshield Washer is Very Weak

Thanks everyone for the replies. It sounds as though it is not uncommon. I agree it's not a huge issue, just a minor inconvenience. Since it seems to be normal for these cars I'll just live with it.
  5. Windshield Washer is Very Weak

I've had my S650 for almost nine months now, and I'm wondering if there may be an issue with my windshield washer nozzles or pump. When I pull the lever for the fluid to squirt, it takes a second or two before any fluid comes out of the nozzles, and when it does it is very weak and only gets...
  6. Ford Performance Dark Horse Racing School Pics!

Im doing the drag racing course for the same reason. I’d rather do the road course over the drag racing, but I wanted to do the drift brake sessions, so drag racing it is.
  7. Ford Performance Dark Horse Racing School Pics!

Ford is actually offering a program for all 2024 Mustang owners, not just Dark Horse owners. It is free. Some of the driving experiences offer the option of automatic or manual; others don't specify.
  8. GT Active Exhaust…new tips?

I know it’s not just a tip replacement, but I really like the look of the black quad tips on the AWE Switchpath exhaust. The downside is it’s a catback system and rather pricey if all you really are looking for are double walled black tips. I uploaded a video showing the tips on my car.
  9. 'Mustang Unleashed' Track Driving Experience Registration Now Active (It's FREE)

They must have either changed the insurance pricing or it is different based on which event you select. Insurance when I registered was $75.

You are required to use their cars. From reading through the information they provide, I think all of the cars used are Dark Horses.
  11. Infotainment System is Challenging!

Use voice commands. I rarely have to touch the screen for as I use voice commands for radio and a/c. You don’t even have to use a button, just say “Hello Ford, tune radio to …”
  12. Jacking -- safe way and where to jack up front end of 2024 Mustang GT?

Jacking rails are the way to go. Jack up one side and you can put both the front and back jack stands underneath. I can have my car on 4 stands in about 2 minutes. https://www.steeda.com/steeda-s550-mustang-ultra-lite-chassis-jacking-rails-15-16-all-555-5205.html
  13. 'Mustang Unleashed' Track Driving Experience Registration Now Active (It's FREE)

They have a FAQ section which covers most of those type questions. Everything you need is provided, including a helmet. You can purchase the damage waiver for $75, which limits your liability to $6,500 if you damage the car. It is not required, but if you do not purchase it, then you are...
  14. 'Mustang Unleashed' Track Driving Experience Registration Now Active (It's FREE)

I've been watching the Mustang Driving Experience website lately, and the registration link just went live a couple hours ago. I completed my registration and just now received my confirmation. This is a one day free driving experience in Charlotte, NC for 2024 Mustang owners. You can choose...
  15. GT Break in Procedure

I know many say to drive it hard from day one and no break in is required. My thoughts are it’s probably wise to follow what is said in the owner’s manual. Right or wrong, I don’t figure taking it easy is going to cause any damage, but pushing it too hard from the start could. Will it cause...
  16. I got to drive a S650 for the first time recently.. I'm underwhelmed

Choice is a great thing considering people have different likes. I previously had a 2019 Mustang GT PP and sold it. When looking at the S650 I considered getting a Mach 1, but I just could not bring myself to buy it with that dash and interior. The interior was the part it disliked the most...
  17. Asking Salesman for an “OTD price” before order is built

That’s why I always negotiate the out the door price, even when trading. I don’t care what line they put the numbers on as long as the bottom line number is to my liking. I’ll pay a doc fee as long as they discount the price of the car.
  18. Asking Salesman for an “OTD price” before order is built

This is how I’ve bought every car for the last 10 years. I make sure I have an out the door price before I even show up to discuss price. If I need to test drive, I test drive then leave and email or call to finalize pricing. I had a bottom line price on my Mustang order, and the dealer tried to...
