Wow, just seeing this for the first time. Great news! I'll take the start/stop button for $1,000 off the price. I was hoping this might happen after they added start/stop. I can push two buttons every time I start her up instead of one.
I don't have any suggestions other than trading. I would think the dark framed ones are harder to come by vs the chome ones so I bet you will be able to find a trade partner
Also, I agree wit you. I think for black Mustangs the chrome framed lights with untinted lenses look better. I think...
Personally I plan to go with the Sto-N-Sho off-center mount with the intention of rarely if ever putting the plate on the car. Figure I'll have it sitting on the floor and if I get pulled over I'll just say I forgot to put it on and here it is and I'm happy to put it back on right now officer...
Personally I wouldn't pay 1 cent more than the agreed upon price when you ordered. If they want to force the spare on you either they can eat the cost or they can remove the tire.
I'm telling you, these cars are sitting and sitting and sitting at dealerships unsold. They are not going to add...
This is EXACTLY what I was thinking. Uh, no I will continue to take it to the dealership on my own thank you, and take good notes on the odometer reading when I leave it.
I have the same general rule as you do as far as avoiding first year models of a new generation. I have an order in but am leaning towards not picking it up and ordering again early next year. Like you I'm alarmed at the number of quality issues I've seen on here. Reports of the car dying are...
Agree it is a good thing to have. I also have a GC and that audible beep-beep-beep has come in handy many times when I was trying to change lanes and could not see the car next me.
My sentiments exactly. Mustang is a muscle car, while the Corvette is really more of a sports car. Compare the Corvette to Porsche, Viper. Compare the Mustang to Camaro, Challenger.
Congrats. Not sure why you say "finally" though. I ordered mine a month before you did and I'm scheduled for the preceding week. I think you're right on schedule at 3-4 months. Mine is slightly behind at 4-5.
They stopped including it with the convertibles a few years ago apparently (~2021) but my understanding is that they could still be ordered as a dealer accessory, at least in the S550 models. I was wondering if they could be ordered for the S650, but it sounds like they may not be offering them...
My current Grand Cherokee SRT is the first and only automatic transmission car I have owned in my lifetime. Since the day I got it I have missed rowing my own gears. Automatic, to me, gives me a disconnect from the car. I feel more like a passenger than a driver. So I am 100% going for MT in...
There have been a few threads on this but I'm wondering if we ever got an answer on if Ford is producing these for the S650 or not? Are they an option anymore?
Agree. I ordered the optional brembo package on my non-PP GT Premium so I'm in the same boat. Basically I pay an extra $1,700 for brakes and Ford takes away my spare tire. Gee thanks!
And a two year old could have done a better job placing it. If you are going to put a dealer sticker on a car, at least put it on the deck lid, not the bumper. Get out the goo gone and rid yourself of that monstrosity.
For the love of all things holy on this earth please remove that miserable dealer sticker. It gives me great pain that they would throw something that ugly on a brand new beautiful Mustang.
