It looks like it is specifically designed to house the carpeted mats. Looks like the bottom two holes are to attach the carpet. If it's designed for it I'm ok with it. Otherwise I'm not.

Coupe or convertible? It's automatic on the convertible. On the fastback, man I love that PP spoiler. I'd keep that even if you remove it later.

So the rear brakes and parking brake are one unit?

That looks to be correct. I think I can see one of those in black on the vehicle above with the optional red brembo brakes. Pardon the stupid question, but where are the rear calipers on the standard wheel? I can't see anything other than the parking brake.
