  1. Performance package is it worth it

Magneride is standard on the DH too right? So that's another $1,750
  2. Gas mileage for manual

I've been running 93 octane but I may experiment with some lower stuff. The gas stations around here stock 87, 89 and 93 only. No 91. Might try the 89 out and see if I notice any changes good or bad. If I'm not racing people at stop lights I'm not sure I'm getting much benefit from 93 octane...
  3. Performance package is it worth it

This is a really good point I didn't consider. The base Dark Horse essentially comes with all the Performance Package options + the Tremec manual transmission for (I believe) less cost than a GT with the PP added. That's a good approach.
  4. Apple CarPlay & Pandora

I know on my Android Auto it automatically opens up Pandora and sort of keeps it on pause as soon as I start up the car. I think there's a setting that you can tell it not to do that if you prefer. Google Maps does the same thing - automatically running while AA is active. But as far as...
  5. Gas mileage for manual

I live in a more rural area and I have been babying it since I'm in the first 1,000 miles. I can get in the 22+ range with 80% highway driving. City driving is a BIG difference LOL.
  6. Does the 24 GT manual transmission have hill hold assist?

Yes, you can turn it on or off on the center touch screen. Mine is turned off as I'm not a huge fan of it and the area I am in is pretty flat.
  7. Curios....how many people would love a hard top convertible?

Looks nice. I've never owned a BMW but the one I drove had like a little flap that extended downward into the trunk when the top was lowered. I liked the retractable hard top but even BMW decided it wasn't the way to go anymore.
  8. Curios....how many people would love a hard top convertible?

So true! I think this is a BMW? I had a 4-series convertible as a rental (soft top) recently. One of the things I didn't like about it was when the top was down you lost a ton of trunk space. I'm impressed with how much cargo room there is in the Mustang and love that they maintain it even...
  9. Almost no love for the Ecoboost

I have been noticing a bit of that Mustang "pop" with sport mode. Haven't noticed it in normal mode yet. I programed sport exhaust into my custom profile along with sport steering. Soon as I'm out of my development, into custom mode I go!
  10. Performance package is it worth it

Counter point, but for me I didn't see the benefits, especially as a convertible owner. For the coupe I would be more likely to get it just for the spoiler. For the convertible it's the same price but you lose the spoiler. I didn't want the PP wheels because they are too much of a pain in the...

Not too many pics of the back end on here I see. Took this one today
  12. 60th Anniversary OTA Update (6.3.2) Released - Classic Gauge Digital Cluster Theme

This is my only issue with it. Wish they had incorporated the gear selection into it somewhere. Otherwise I love the way it looks.
  13. Dark Horse on fire and burns down (from stuck clutch)

Wow! Really strange about the clutch and getting stuck in gear. Curious to see where this goes.
  14. Racing Stripes or Wrap!

I look at the side of that car I see a blank canvas begging for some stripes! Do it! As for colors, I'm not the best to ask. But seems like red and black would work well with the bronze wheels?

This is a really good shot! This should be on a Ford brochure. Lighting is perfect and really cool that you got it on a road like that instead of a parking lot or driveway.
  16. Curios....how many people would love a hard top convertible?

I love the IDEA of a hard top convertible, but there's a reason they all went back to soft. They added a ton of weight and were prone to breaking. I'm totally good with a soft top. I park in a garage so I don't worry too much about it aging too quickly from the sun. Some of the hard top...
  17. Battery Tender?

Not sure exactly which NOCO you are using but mine has a series of four lights that indicate 25%, 50%, 75%, full charge. So it will sort of tell you but I wouldn't base too much on that. Seems like no matter what it starts on 25 and works up from there.
  18. Battery Tender?

You're welcome. Mine took about 4-5 hours to fully charge. I very much doubt yours will take much longer if you have been driving it regularly.
  19. Battery Tender?

It's really easy. pop up the little red plastic cover on the battery positive terminal. Attached red or positive clamp from charger. Then attach the black or negative clamp to the post on top of the one of the bolts on the strut tower, or any other good hunk of metal you can find. Then plug...
