I'm new to this concept, but is this no lift shift something that needs to be turned on? Of do you simply just shift without lifting off the gas and the car takes car of it?

As others have said, just rip your cd's onto your phone or a thumb drive. Don't muck up your interior by installing some tacky cd player. I just keep my cds on my phone.

What's awkward about it? Other than waiting for the seat to move up, nothings different? Depressing the clutch before pressing the start button is the same regardless. Give it a few more tries and see if it starts to feel more natural.

Just try doing it a few times. Before long it will become second nature. I did it this way in my Grand Cherokee for 8+ years. The vehicle must override the repositioning of the seat when you crank the engine and force you to do it with the button. I really think you'll prefer it this way...

Yes, the start/stop ignition button is what I'm talking about. I sit down, press the ignition button, seat moves forward, then I depress the clutch and start the engine with a second press of the ignition button. I don't find it hard to reach the ignition button at all when the seat is back...
