Yes, that testing for water ingress is part of the recall process. They should have done all this before they delivered the car to you! Hope they make it simple for you. You will love your car.
AZ_Ryan’s comments are right on. Your dealer was asleep at the wheel, which might give me concern about info from them. As indicated above, they need to inspect the BCM for any water intrusion, but MOST, ALMOST ALL, have not had this occur. My 2025 GT was inspected, no water intrusion, and...
Go with the GT premium vs the Ecoboost. I had a 2022 Ecoboost Premium Convertible. Put 48k great miles on it and would still be driving it except I continually wanted a GT with the v8. Ordered a 2025 Gat Premium convertible. Picked it up in April. 13k wonderful smiles.
No, and No.
I recommend at least the following:
GT premium Convertible
Premier trim
Automatic 10-speed
19” wheels
B&O sound
Mini spare & tire
Active Valve Exhaust

You can email Ford Performance at

and ask them to check the status of your order. You need to provide them your ORDER NUMBER and DEALER NUMBER. These should be on the order printout that your dealer gave you. These guys are usually selling parts etc, but are usually very helpful.
Makes no sense that the dealer did not provide your email to Ford when they submitted your order to Ford. If they had, you would have received an email within a few hours to a couple of days from Ford confirming your order. That just confirms that Ford has your order. Important that you got a...
I have not had to do it but a couple of guys on the forum have, so hopefully they can advise you. There is info in the owner’s manual also. I would think that your dealer would help you do this. Good discussion with the Service Manager and the General Manager might be helpful if not already done.
