I had similar damage on a car 2-3 years ago for the same problem, but mine happened in a parking lot, and I hit a pole. My damages were close to 8K. Glenn

I have had the same problem numerous times. What I find helps is to plug the phone in before I start the car, or sync the phone again after it starts. I'm old, so I don't always remember to plug the phone in first. And I expect that issue will not improve! Glenn

Two things: 1- my car seldom gets wet; 2- If I am selling the car, I would have it done. I am not saying I will never have it done, just not until I feel more comfortable that the service personnel have sufficient experience. Maybe when mine is the last one to be done! :handsinair: Glenn
