  1. Ohioguy's Mustang Journey

When I worked in NYC, in the last millennium, I owned an Audi Fox. I was driving home from work after an all-night snow. Crossing the upper level of the George Washington Bridge, that's what we call Martha, I had to get off the bridge onto the Palisades Pkwy. The snow plows went across the...
  2. Ohioguy's Mustang Journey

I'm in PA and I never buy snow tires. I drive my GT all winter, but only when the roads are clean. Glenn
  3. Dealer for Recall

Are you saying that button only mutes the GPS voice instructions? Because the stereo sound worked fine in Car Play and Sirius. I will check that icon! Glenn
  4. Dealer for Recall

How do you know it is definitely the speaker? Maybe it is something else rattling. Glenn
  5. Dealer for Recall

I shouldn't have said anything! Today, the CarPlay GPS directions work, but voice instructions wouldn't. I did the phone list trick, and the GPS routing still worked, but no voice instructions. I hate the fact that car manufacturers can't get CarPlay to work all the time. Glenn
  6. Ford secure ending

Yeah! That's why I'm not doing mine until the spring. The stress would probably put me over the edge. If the mechanic were a Mustang owner, I would probably feel more comfortable having it done. I'm sure a Mustang owner would care enough to do a good job! Glenn
  7. Meanwhile in Texas, S650 Holiday Light Setup

So all that work and the lights don't work? Glenn
  8. I Learned a Valuable Lesson Today

Gotta love the Ford App for that reason alone. Glenn
  9. Dealer for Recall

When Apple Car Play doesn't connect I do the same thing. It is weird that I can go for weeks and no problems and then it hiccups! Glenn
  10. Looky what arrived today - Convertible Wind Deflector

Spot on! I miss not being able to put stuff in the back seat. My personal low is about 50°. But I currently don't have a windscreen. My wife and I once drove through a snowstorm, in our Saab with a windscreen. However, we were much younger! Glenn
  11. Looky what arrived today - Convertible Wind Deflector

I've made a couple of 7-8 hour drives and I never felt the need to put the top up because it was too windy. However, like you, I like the look and really enjoyed it when I had one on my Saab convertible. Glenn
  12. Looky what arrived today - Convertible Wind Deflector

I had one for my Saab convertible. It worked great and allowed you to leave objects in the rear seat. Mine came with the car. I don't think I would buy one for $465, but you never know? Gotta love those miles points! Glenn
  13. Area by right knee/leg gets Hot

I hope you figure it out! Glenn
  14. Dealer for Recall

Holly crap! Why did you even take the car back? I told my dealer I am not doing it anytime soon and certainly not before the Spring. If I were you I would have my lawyer drop the car off! Glenn
  15. Area by right knee/leg gets Hot

I've put over 5,000 miles on my GT Premium Vert and I've never noticed that spot getting hot. That includes two 7-8 hour drives only stopping for gas. Glenn
  16. speed limit signs in dash

No! Actually, French Canadian and Welsh! I wish the cops around here thought that way. I have calmed down in my "old" age. When I had my Z, I was so out of control that I got a letter from the PA DOT threatening that I would lose my license if I got another speeding ticket. Thankfully, I usually...
  17. speed limit signs in dash

When my kids were young I told them it was a suggestion, so drivers weren't reckless. :giggle: Glenn
  18. Hot cabin

That's for damn sure! 100Ëš is like nearly baking temps. When I see people doing that during the summer I assume they are baked, from drugs! Glenn
  19. speed limit signs in dash

I have been using the dash speed limit notification since I got my car 16 months ago, and I have never seen it be wrong. It is especially useful on those occasions when there is no sign and you want to know. The dash is always displaying the speed limit from the last sign. Glenn
  20. Hot cabin

I almost never turn my A/C off. I use it all winter, as well. I may raise the temp, but it is still the A/C. About the only time I turn on the heater is if there is a humidity problem caused by excessive moisture in the cabin. It takes a long time, but occasionally you need to dry things out. Glenn
