My biggest gripe is if I intend to downshift, I want to know when I downshift, am I going to go to 2nd and have the person behind me shit his pants! At higher speeds, there is no problem with upshifting or downshifting. You can pretty much shift up or down anytime you want. No surprises. Glenn

I agree wholeheartedly! I think it is one of the best transmissions I've ever driven! It never misses a beat. I am surprised at how smooth downshifts can be, even going into 2nd. Up shifts are smooth as butter! Glenn

That is true of almost all automatics when you accelerate. I will check, as well, but do you know without using the paddles if the gear it drops to is displayed on the dash? Personally, I like the feel of downshifting, and my hands are already on the paddles since I use them extensively. Glenn
