The brake does disengage if you don't push down, but it often hesitates and sometimes makes an audible clunking noise.
For Auto Hold, on a manual transmission it keeps the car still for a few seconds so the car doesn't roll, but it only comes on if you push down on the brake pedal hard enough...
Thank you for the summary. I feel like this topic should be pinned given how many threads there are. Such a weird issue to have. Sounds like a simple fix, but I lament the idea of them having the car for a week.
Thank you! The dealer mentioned that to me as a possibility. I wish we could fix...
I've seen all of them in person, and I think the neatest and most unique one is Ember Blue. I wanted to like Vapor Blue more than I do as it was what I was originally going to order. Every time I've seen it, though, it looks more like my old Tungsten Grey S197 than it does blue.
Thank you! I was reading over your thread earlier. My dealer suggested it might be ABS module related. I considered not taking it in and just chancing it happening again, but it's not worth getting stuck somewhere and then having to have it towed. I'd rather have peace of mind. (And maybe they...
Mine's not a Dark Horse, but I get something similar. I feel like it's the electronic break hesitating before disengaging. It's happened to me going forward or in reverse. My car is a manual. Sometimes I forget to disengage it. But it's happened too with Auto Hold but not as noticeable.
I've looked over the forums and have seen this has happened to some other folks.
Car is a '24 GT Premium with Performance Pack, manual trans. At the time it had 3/4 tank of gas, and as far as I could tell, the battery was fine.
Today I parked my car to run errands. It sat about two hours. When...
That was easy! I didn’t even need the strap wrench. There was no thread lock on the factory shift knob. It came off super easily. The Bullitt knob went on easily too and I hand-tightened it to where it won’t budge. I followed the instructions and didn’t put thread lock.
When I'm using Active Exhaust in Sport or Track, I sometimes get a vibration somewhere in the cabin. Seems to occur more noticeably when I'm accelerating in a lower gear such as when getting on the freeway. I can't tell if it's the paneling on the passenger door, the passenger seat, or the dash...
Honestly I would be ready to thoroughly inspect it and make sure it is 100% to your liking in terms of paint quality and panel alignment. While some issues don't present themselves until after you've accepted the car, the visual things are important to try and catch early if you don't want the...
I used some points towards a shift knob on 3/8. It was shipped and should be delivered today. I've heard sometimes things aren't in stock even though it says they are though, such as the rear blackout panel.
Ah, cool. Looks like Levittown Ford Parts has them available. I think I'm gonna order too. Sounds like the install of the three badges is pretty straightforward? (Not going to bother with the front grill pony... I hate how it gets lost in the black.)
These price increases are bananas. That's probably not the end of them either. Maybe some of the kinks get ironed out with time, but I'm glad I ordered early on in the game to avoid paying some of that.
