I had cloth in my S550 and it held up. I’m sure this will too. Yea i bought this off the lot. I’d have taken the black wheels but it had these. I did wanna do silver but couldn’t find one. Plus i did want blue originally for my S550 but couldn’t find one the way i wanted. The Ecoboost isn’t bad...
Have removed the stock clutch spring. Definitely way stiffer but feel it’s better overall. May try Steedas new 35lb spring just released. Also over 6200 miles now and loving it. Hopefully in a few weeks it will be lowered. Have the parts just need the time.
With Ceratec though you have to continually use it to hide the BBq tick. It’s $25+ for one bottle that’s supposed to be for 5qts so you would need two. But I’ve seen one bottle gets it done usually.
All cars have it. Some just don’t hear it like others. Or it’s super quiet. But it will probably get louder with age. I haven’t seen one long term 5.0 without it. It’s part of the engine.
Unhook the negative and your car will be fine. Had one unhooked for 6 months and fired right back up but it was back in 2006 so less tech. But I’d unhook my S550 for 3 months and it would fire up.
Some updates. Second oil change done. Switched from Pennzoil Platinum to this new stuff from Quaker state. I took an oil sample of the PP to send to Blackstone. Will do the same on this stuff. Had about 4700 miles on the PP. I also did some grill mods. Thanks to a video from Murphy’s Law Garage...
Sure but price is gonna be a main point. My guess is the 3D printed ones will cost upwards of $50 a piece based on things I’ve seen. I can get ABS to do both sides for less than $10 and just take time which i have plenty of.
