Take the center console off along with the rubber cabin isolation boot and take a listen. MT-82's are rather loud and clunky transmissions.
If its coming from the rear, it could be the propshaft bracing back and forth. The fix would be a single piece shaft.

sometimes its a decent idea to cross reference the bolt pattern and offset, then look at manufacturers of wheels for other brands, like the corvettes, Japanese stuff, etc. If the offset is close enough, bolt pattern matches, and the style is to your liking, you might be able to get away with it...

Doubt the inlet temps are any higher. Both IM’s are made of a plastic composite. If the oil in gen 4’s runs hotter than gen 3’s, its probably because they make more power. More pressure = more boom = more heat. I’m sure someone smarter than me can figure out the math to all of it.
