He's not trolling, he's just dumb
  2. Has the GT also fake exhaust sound?

Just like the old VW forums. 1.8T Nevar Lose
  3. Has the GT also fake exhaust sound?

I haven't even watched the video, I'm at work. But yeah, came to the same conclusion, artificial. Lame...
  4. Has the GT also fake exhaust sound?

If ESE was there, I'd see it. I went through both ecoboost and GT diagrams. Didn't look at DH or GTD, though I could.
  5. Has the GT also fake exhaust sound?

Yeah, I didn't find any microphones for ESE front or rear, looked through the diagrams. I wouldn't be surprised if its just digitized sound being played through the speakers, or pre-programmed.
  6. Has the GT also fake exhaust sound?

I suspect the ANC mic's might be tied into the ESE, maybe. I couldn't find anything regarding ESE at all. At the very least, no microphones.
  7. Active Exhaust - Meh?

I can't help myself, lmao. I did let it go eventually
  8. Active Exhaust - Meh?

no, lol. Its all part of the discussion, and it already ended. Its a public forum, and we're talking about exhausts.

Sorry, didn't realize that calculating equations is just playing on paper. My bad G, let me just huff some glue and get on your level. No, I have not intentionally put restrictors on my exhaust under the assumption that it will allow my car to make more power. I simply put whatever has been...
  10. Active Exhaust - Meh?

I'm just going to start quoting things I've already wrote man. I'm making references from both my engineering background, as well as other sources which have literally tested and posted results to the hypothesis. Heres your answer, and I'm leaving it at this. If you can't be convinced by the...
  11. Active Exhaust - Meh?

I have, you've just chosen not to read a single thing I have posted, wrote, or replied with beyond what you found to fit your criteria.
  12. Active Exhaust - Meh?

If you didn't have breakfast this morning, how would you feel?
  13. Active Exhaust - Meh?

I can almost guarantee that you are just reading off of Chat GPT, or Google AI, or whatever else. "Stock backpressure is around 16 psi in a GSR. Good aftermarket exhausts yield 2-5 psi backpressure. "Bolt-ons only" engine packages, in the past, used exhausts with some backpressure, since there...
  14. Active Exhaust - Meh?

So the great thing about bernoullis equation is that when calculating constant flow, both sides equal eachother depending on what you are calculating for. Increasing pressure on the end of the hose increases velocity at the kink, but does not increases the total volume of water through the...
  15. Active Exhaust - Meh?

Whens the last time you saw a restrictor plate on the end of an exhaust to increase backpressure. Just because backpressure goes up on a more restrictive exhaust does not mean its the reason the engine makes more power. That would be like saying that radiation is good for you because its in the...
  16. Active Exhaust - Meh?

That would be harder to match, then. Not sure how I'd do it.
  17. Active Exhaust - Meh?

Foot flat to the floor, it shouldn't make a difference theoretically. Otherwise, most scanner show TB position %, you could try to match that as close as possible.
  18. Active Exhaust - Meh?

Well in that case, you're just flat out wrong. Backpressure is bad. https://motordyneengineering.com/scavenging-and-the-exhaust-backpressure-myth/ "Back pressure rapidly reduces performance. The butterfly valve was attached at the end of the Y pipe and dyno tested at various levels of flow...
  19. Active Exhaust - Meh?

This isn’t back pressure, you’re thinking of scavenging.
  20. Active Exhaust - Meh?

Theres a very simple solution to this. Plug a scanner in and read the live data. Record the same exact pull in normal, and track. See if the recorded days changes timing
