I noticed that the center screen remains dimmed when putting reverse in while headlamps are on.
That makes the picture so dark I can barely see anything.
Any setting I missed, or maybe a Forscan parameter that can be modified?
This is how far I got last summer:
A minute after I took the second picture, a security guy came driving up and asked me friendly to leave and not take any pictures.
So I wasn't welcome to drive the final 100 yrds to the main entrance ...
I thought I had read somewhere that they offer...
Hey did you guys all connect the positive amp power cable directly to the battery like the OP did?
I remember from the Gen 6 that this is a bad idea because the battery management is bypassed and doesn't realize why the battery acts the way it does when listening to music.
Gen 6 has a dedicated...
Thanks a lot for the detailed information
I live in Germany and need mufflers with a specific approval number to be legal so will have to wait until manufacturers will apply for and get them. Sooner or later they will start the process.
Does anybody know how to turn off the different light effects when unlocking the car?
I disabled "Welcome lights" and still when I open the door directly, exterior lights are flashing and do all kind of stupid stuff which is perfect for distracting others, especially the flashing headlamps make...
The plan for upgrade stage 1 is keeping all speakers and see what the DSP can do with them, especially voices I don't like.
Focus is on separate Subwoofer control and individual crossover frequencies for the door "subs" to avoid any rattling (doors will be silenced anyway though).
Wires will be...
Looks absolutely amazing!
Did you consider painting the tear sac or what ever it is called?
Did some Photoshopping, not perfectly matching the color, but gives an idae:
Only front portion painted:
@98jfuentes
Sorry to bother you again, but do you happen to have the color coding for the 20-pin connector cables to which the amp speaker cables will be connected?
The AmpPro manual starting on page 3 only includes Bronco, F-150s and the Mach E and suggests to figure out via test tone and...
Did anyone try "Switching the seatbelt reminder on and off" function as described in the manual on page 54?
@smurfslayer
Normally just short pressing the ok button on the right should immediately remove the seatbelt information display.
Plus maybe due to the auto start/stop system the alternator might have more power (?).
User manual points out battery is "enhanced" for that purpose on page 165.
Yes, question asked confusingly maybe:
I would connect a wire from the upper doorspeaker to what you call a resistor (which should be a capacitor if used for high pass filter).
Then both will get the signal from the amp.
Only question is where the tweeter capacitor is located, is it inside the...
Hey, do you happen to know if the original tweeter have passive high pass filters located close to them, so that they could be wired to the upper door speakers to run them like a regular 2-way system fired by the new amp on the AmpPro?
Would save two channels on the amp.
Also, do you have tips...
I understand the MagnERide (for magnEtic) does also do some work in normal mode where it still reacts actively on steering input or bumps detected by the front wheels, just doesn't get as stiff as in sport modes.
Other than that, can't compare as I had a 2016 model with Bilstein shocks and...
Edit:
All my questions including how to wire the speakers have been perfectly answered in this video:
Unbelievably helpful and can be shared with every installer who is not familiar with the B&O systems in recent Fords!
Very good ideas, both the Miata and an older Gen 5 Stang.
I couldn't stand the creaks and squeaks when tracking my beautiful Stang vert on a regular basis.
