  1. Great day today, traded in my ecoboost!

Dark Matter Gray with Grabber Blue calipers was my first choice, very nice combo.
  2. 265/285 width tires on stock PP wheels?

Gotta love GPT. "This is good and works well" But isn't that totally wrong? "You are absolutely correct"
  3. 265/285 width tires on stock PP wheels?

I would just keep it simple and stick with stock sizes, my S550 GTPP had the same tire sizes. No hard launches but with hard acceleration and taking highway clover leaves aggressively I never broke traction with PS4Ss.
  4. Manual?

I had a S550 GT PP with 3.73 which had the Getrag MT82 like current manual GTs. 1st gear felt awfully short, especially in stop and go traffic. No auto rev match for down shifts and the hill start assist felt a little invasive to me, almost like it held the brakes a split second too long. My...
  5. Manual?

Get a Dark Horse if you want a manual, get a GT PP if you go with automatic. I did my time with the Getrag MT82, it was just "fine". The Tremec in the Dark Horse is a real treat.
  6. Winter tires?

Dark Horse HP's tires are slightly smaller diameter than the standard Dark Horse or GT so I went with 275/35/19. Otherwise, 275/40/19 iirc was almost 5% different than the back 315/30/19. I got a set of Steeda Trident 19x10s for the Blazzaks and they're close to the struts on the front but I was...
  7. In-Vehicle Advertising

Ads have gotten out of control, especially on youtube. I like to throw a video on as background noise when I'm lifting or tinkering with something and some ads are straight up hour long podcasts about junk I couldn't give a single damn about. People are like, "hurr durr get YT Premium or jUsT...
  8. Pirelli tyres

I had PZero summer tires that came on my S550, they're junk for the price and I don't get the hype behind the name. Michelin PS4S really are as good as everyone says but still not appropriate for colder temps but handle them better than PZeros in my experience. It gets cold enough to damage...
  9. Thoughts on Warm up Times?

Usually the coldest it gets here is like 5-10F but windchill can take it to -20F. My 2004 Mach 1 I always started and let idle for like 20 minutes. Traded it with 175k miles, 135k of them were from me. Engine was still good and pulled hard as ever, no leaks or loss of compression. Just regular...
  10. Roof channel paint defect and grille plastic bubbling

There's a paint bubble on the outside of my trunk lid. I know it's a bubble because I could indent it with my fingernail and the impression disappeared shortly after. Ford has denied my claim once already. The bodyshop manager at the dealership I got the car from took more pictures and...
  11. deal fell through, help me choose the right DH!

The right color is whatever you like and nobody else's business and cops who will harass you for a color will harass you for driving a Mustang period. 700a with standard seats was mandatory for me. Love some heated and cooled seats and they work way better than the ones in my S550.
  12. Winter tires?

So far the Blizzak 6s are real nice on the highway. In sport mode I dropped from 6th to 4th at about 70mph and gave it like 80% throttle to escape an uppity tailgater. Don't know how fast I got but didn't feel any loss of traction or squirming, it was around 40F that day. They're a little...
  13. Winter tires?

I had the X-Ice Snows on my S550. IDK if it was because I had them on PP1 wheels with 255s up front and 275s in the back but they were very squirrely on dry highways. Constantly wandering everywhere in the lane and felt like I was driving a boat, alignment was good. Not as good in the snow as my...
  14. Questions about Steeda H pipe

Steeda HPipe with the Vivid clamps is the first aftermarket exhaust anything I've had where I can't hear any leaks. Maybe I got lucky with my cuts to remove the stock resonator but this with stock active exhaust sounds so much better to me than my last 5.0 with a Borla S-Type catback. Cold...
  15. Anyone know about this sealant?

Shelf life days months to years Always a fresh seal thanks to the use of 3.0 shampoo "We don't know how long it lasts" and fresh seal due to shampoo, in the ceramic coating... I don't know about this one boss. Sounds like Temu slop. I wish Mother's still made their ceramic wash and coat. That...
  16. Who’s enjoying the warm days before hibernation.

Took my summer wheels off because it got cold and I didn't want to damage the compound. Now it's so warm the temps can cause excessive wear for my snow tires' compound.
