  1. Great News for V8s and ICE Vehicles in General

"the life of the car" aka when the warranty expires. What exactly is the life expectancy of say a Cyber Truck when parts literally fall off of it because they were assembled with glue?
  2. Raising ride height on Dark Horse to avoid scraping?

Mine is kissing the driveway starting parallel to the curb. I can only imagine the scraping stopped because my driveway finally ground off enough material from the splitter for it to clear 😭
  3. PPF/XPEL on a Dark Horse - hood decal issues??

My installer said he could do separate pieces for the decal since Xpel had templates for it and use Xpel's Stealth PPF which has a satin/matte finish over the decals. That's what he used on the gray bits on the front bumper and mirror caps and it looks great. I just had my decal removed because...
  4. Great News for V8s and ICE Vehicles in General

Not to mention ironically how awful EVs will end up for our planet. Who's going to want to spend $10k-$20k to replace the battery in a Tesla however many years down the line, sooner than later with fast charging, when it dies while the whole car is worth $8k-$12k? Planned obsolescence garbage...
  5. Which cluster theme is most popular?

I use track. I like sport because the shift indicator with the converging lines is more separated from other clutter in the display but revs are too far down for me, I like to keep my eyes on the road. I wish there were more options for the indicator like making the whole tachometer rapidly...
  6. Tire width on 20x9 wheels (coming from 19" PP)

265 is the safe max width for 9in wide wheel, 255 is considered ideal.
  7. Tramlining/Bump Steer Fix?

I have a set of Blizzak 6s on Steeda Trident 19x10s for winter. PS4S would ve miserable in this weather.
  8. Spline Lug Nuts - What are your thoughts

I stopped using wheel locks after shredding the keys on two sets, one OEM and the other Gorilla. Always used recommend torque to tighten and a 2ft breaker bar to remove 🤷‍♀️. I found out the other day the car alarm will go off if you try to jack it while locked so good enough for me. If I'm...
  9. Tune options for a 2025 Dark Horse

Just a few people have been able to get into the ECU, it's locked like all other new Mustangs. Tuning hasn't become readily available yet.
  10. PSA for Dark Horse HP and GTPP pop your underbody air fins off if you're driving in snow

I noticed they're more flexible than I thought. But I still have a bit of PTSD from a couple years ago where I ran over a chunk of ice in a blizzard that came out of nowhere. Went from just wet outside no precipitation to 5 minutes down the road I'm now in a whiteout blizzard with 4in of snow on...
  11. PSA for Dark Horse HP and GTPP pop your underbody air fins off if you're driving in snow

I've come to accept that these are just cars and I only have room for one vehicle. I've only driven Mustangs since I had my learner's permit, this is my 4th, I usually keep them 5-8 years but this one will probably stay longer. Despite the salt, my undercarriages have never looked that bad. I...
  12. Ceramic Coating Opinions

I'd say worth it if not getting PPF. Not all are created equal, Project Farm did a good comparison
  13. Tramlining/Bump Steer Fix?

I agree. Tramlining almost totally gone with PS4S vs Trofeos. Same deal when I switched from PZeros to PS4S on my last car. Michelin is just an all around superior tire, Ford must've gotten a screemin deal with Pirelli to slap them on Mustangs.
  14. PSA for Dark Horse HP and GTPP pop your underbody air fins off if you're driving in snow

They're almost 2in long and the HP Dark Horse is already really low to the ground. Ford put them on to help create lower air pressure near the rear of the car for more down force. I can't imagine a single scenario during winter where they'll be a benefit but I can imagine where they'd be a...
  15. PSA for Dark Horse HP and GTPP pop your underbody air fins off if you're driving in snow

Not sure if standard Dark Horse has em. Should get you a couple inches more of ground clearance and it's one less thing to get hassled by chunks of ice lollygagging in the road. Five black 7mm bolts, three on the bottom and two on the side in the wheel wells. I was able to get to em just turning...
  16. Dark horse HP winter tire question (275/35/19s-F, 285/35/19s-R)

Not really what you want to hear but in the long run it would probably be best to get a second set of wheels for less headache with finding tires. If you get snow I'd want all weather tires at minimum vs all seasons, but I couldn't find any 285 all weathers at a glance. Looks like Michelin makes...
  17. OEM leather seats covers installed in my poverty pony (DIY)

I don't envy you lol. I took the driver seat out my S550 to replace the cover. Those torx bolts were the tightes mfers I ever had to wrench and almost stripped one. I was planning on removing the passenger to deep clean the carpet prior to sale but threw that plan in tge trash half way through...
  18. Car forgets settings

Settings still get reset after programming the memory button and I use the same fob every time. I'm conviced it's more because "WOW uNrEaL eNgInE bideogame graphics!!!! Make da car picture spin! Oh look it do burnout movie in track mode!" vs stable software code.
  19. Car forgets settings

For anyone saying it's OTA updates, mine still resets my settings from time to time. I have auto updates off, my telematics control unit unplugged, and no Ford app on my phone. As expected I get an error when trying to connect the car to a wifi modem/router. I still get wireless android auto...
  20. Mustang Christmas List

I miss my yellow SS3 Pro fog lights, shame they can't go anywhere on the Dark Horse because of the extra cooler. They definitely helped me find my lane in heavy rain, made reflective signs pop, and shined wide enough to help spot deer on the side of the road. Never got flashed by people even...
