Mine didn't brake but it screeched at me because there was a cyclist on the sidewalk next to the road. I turn it to lowest sensitivity. Last thing I need is for it to spaz and brake with some bonehead tailgating me like normal smacking into me. I just maintain safe distance from the car in front...
Power seems to take a nosedive with my Dark Horse at WOT before redline. Traction is fine, clutch doesn't seem like it's slipping. I know the manual redlines at 7250, not 7500 for "reasons". I haven't been winding out the engine often enough to see if there's a pattern.
All depends how much you want to spend. I have a gas Generac that's been severely neglected I've had for like 8 years and it fires up every time, works great. I went down the rabbit hole for electric units because I'm sick of the noise, shutting down and restarting between foaming and rinsing...
Awesome, thanks. I'm getting close to considering replacing pads. Rotors look ok so I replace those usually every 2-3 pad change.
I also want to drain and replace my Tremec's fluid and the differential oil. It's premature but my S550 PP with the Torsen LSD had enough metal dust on the drain...
You'd have to use forscan to change it. The three closest dealers to me insisted it couldn't be done and talked to me like I'm crazy unless my dealers just suck.
Screen protectors are non-negotiable for these cars. 4 months after picking up mine as the first owner, the AR coating started to delaminate and look like shit where the home icon is mainly and other high touch areas. Delaminated just from me tapping there, impressively bad coating from Ford...
The headlights turn on when it's still plenty bright outside, Sun is still visible in the sky. I like my screens dim at night and with auto headlights the sensor often dims the screens while it's still light out and makes them totally illegible to me so I'd have to constantly manually adjust the...
I pay attention to things in front of my face. Especially when they're contrasted white on a dark background right underneath probably the only universal thing everyone looks at while driving once in a while...
I hate the speed limit icon that clutters up the speedometer. It's totally wrong so many times I don't even reference it. One time it told me a local main street with houses and businesses that's been 35mph since forever was 55mph 🙄
Just making sure... did you toggle AC on the center screen on the bottom row? I made that mistake so many times when I got a more modern car where not only do you turn the fans on and set the temp but also press a AC button to get cold air. I hope Ford did something about the compressors vs...
Can't blame Chevy for that one. How could they ever predict their Corvettes would do anything more than haul people to the golf course at the speed limit or minus 5mph on Sundays when the weather is nice 🙃
It's the animation that hogs the entire instrument cluster when you change drive modes. I find them distracting and tiresome after you've seen them for the 300th time.
I never do, which is why I'm even more opposed to more Big Brother nanny bullshit added to cars. Why should I have to suffer invasive equipment that makes me pay more for cars because states will just give a driver's license to any pinhead that steps through the doors of the BMV who doesn't even...
I really don't like the idea of modifying things in the ecu with a program I can only "borrow" from some people in Russia who can at any given point go unresponsive for any number of reasons. Now if I could own the premium version and never have to worry about losing the ability to write data...
Now if Ford would give us the option to toggle off fake engine noises and ANC, as well as the stupid videos that spam the most important display of the car when changing drive modes we'd be in business. I'd also like for DRL toggle to be on or off, not just on with automatic headlights. I always...
