  1. Recommend a DIY paint protection product?

Touch less car washes do not completely clean all the film off of the car. They are also known for using high alkaline soaps or basic soaps which neither are good to use in any car for continuous washings. If you find one that uses a fairly neutral soap then it’s ok but you’ll want to do a...
  2. Increased Air Intake

I gotcha. I wasn’t aware of this. Interesting concept. Just like the old six pack/barrel option mopar had back in the day.
  3. I got to drive a S650 for the first time recently.. I'm underwhelmed

šŸ‘ yes handling also. I know there are other cars that have power and comfort like some bmw’s and other makes but not for the price. I’ve had my share of stiff suspension rides and family cars that rode like you were on a cloud but my body cant take the stiff rides very long and when I hit the...
  4. TPMS synching tool

Our ā€˜08 Pontiac had the technology in its key fob. I’m completely shocked we need a special tool to sync the tpms sensors. Oh well. Still love the car and it has a million more options than our Pontiac did so it is what it is.
  5. TPMS synching tool

Really? I can’t believe you can’t use your key fob to reset those or something integrated into the cars system. I’ll either end up buying this or just not bother and remember where the wheels originally started at.
  6. I got to drive a S650 for the first time recently.. I'm underwhelmed

This is mainly my wife’s car and she/we test drive the Camaro,a used s550, and a new mustang. The Camaro was more of a race car feel driving on the street. The used mustang was nice but the interior is outdated when compared to the new mustang. She wanted the power, sound, comfort, and modern...
  7. TPMS synching tool

I guessing you have multiple sets of rim/tire combos for your car? Is that why you need to have this tool?
  8. Increased Air Intake

I’m not sure I understand your question? Are you implying both throttle bodies don’t open in unison?
  9. Trunk Mat options and trunk dimensions

We have the weathertech and it fits perfect. Works great.
  10. What brand of motor oil do ya’ll prefer for your Stangs?

Amsoil is hands down the number one oil for automotive use. Is it necessary, no as long as you do your oil changes regularly. But, if you want the best, use Amsoil.
  11. Increased Air Intake

I haven’t taken the time to watch my AIT when driving compared to moving. I don’t care to be honest. It’s a street car, not a race car or track car so I’m not that concerned about what minimal gains if any this could provide. Nor am I thrilled about cutting a few plastics molds off my grill...
  12. Recommend a DIY paint protection product?

DIY Detail 3,5&8 year ceramic coatings are fairly new but have received great reviews. I have the 5 year on our mustang which is also has ppf. There are plenty of quality ceramic coatings that receive great reviews. Some are easier to work with than others. For optimal results you should...
  13. Clean Side Catch Can?

Yep. No way is a catch can system worth that much. Much cheaper and they work just as good
  14. Clean Side Catch Can?

Here is everything you need to know about catch cans.
  15. Love the car, but I have 2 big disappointments

The screen is not plastic, it’s glass all the way across. You either have the plastic still on there or you’ve had something on your fingers that has etched the glass. Try rubbing alcohol/water mix or a glass cleaner and microfiber towel using little to no pressure. Even the softest...
  16. What's the consensus, leave top stowed or up for days?

Always up unless driving. Florida UV rays damage things very quickly and we have birds everywhere. I’ve seen a few convertibles with birds using the headrest. Not to mention it tends to rain out of nowhere and I like keeping dirt out of the car.
  17. Custom Mode and Quiet Start Issues

Our car starts in track mode. Not sure why but it’s been doing it for the last two weeks. Before it was always in normal mode.
  18. New to The Dragstrip

Definitely get your pressure in the 20’s. A time slip would be good to see. Curious as to your 60’. And Supras are stupid quick. A downpipe and a tune they can add some serious power.
  19. Anyone plan on buying the Air Design Satin Black Front Splitter ?

Sorry it’s in the garage. The only ones I have
  20. Oil life Monitoring Issue

To each is their own but unless you have done an oil analysis I wouldn’t be so sure on 10k mile changes. There are plenty of tech videos showing a lot of Fords that did 10k oil changes and it didn’t fair well. Now, if you are running Amsoil, 10k is easy. I plan on doing an OA on my second...
