This past weekend's festivities....
1. Form Lighting Smoked LED Corner Lenses
2. RTR Hood Vent
3. DH HP Rear Splash Guards
4. OEM HP Splitter
5. New Windshield (being tinted next Tuesday)
I've always been a Chevrolet guy. After 9 Camaros and 2 Corvettes, I decided it was time to jump into the Mustang world.
As far as comparison to my most recent Chevrolet, my 2023 Camaro SS 1LE, the DH (non-HP) feels a bit less "edgy" than the SS did. The SS was more "raw" feeling, the DH feels...
Update... It was 1000x easier than everyone made it out to be. Not sure why everyone complains about what a PITA is is, it was a simple bolt on that took about an hour or Race Ramps... No cursing, no thrown tools, and no bloody knuckles lol...
Yeah, that's what I thought as well. It seemed excessive and looked like it was bending the top opening inward a bit (directions say to tighten bottom screws first, so all of the opening is at the top)....
I assumed to leave them in because I hadn't seen them (bushings) mentioned at all...
It's nothing at all like a press fit, it's a clamp, lol.
BlendMount says the bushings should be removed from the clamping surfaces to ensure that it is clamped with sufficient force to ensure it won't potentially deflect/stretch over time. Strangely, they did not recommend "slapping blue...
So installed my R7 and Blend Mount today, and it went well, but had a question about the bushings inside the mounting ring. Did you remove them or leave them in? Right now they're still in but there's a 1/4" gap on the mounting ring because it won't close all the way, and although everything is...
It'll bolt on, the HP has a filler piece that goes between the HP splitter and the undertray that will have to be removed. There are several videos on YT of people upgrading to an HP splitter that show the removal of the base splitter and install of the HP splitter, you're just looking to do it...
Bought a HP Splitter kit like 3 months ago from Ford for my non-HP DH and I'm finally going to get around to installing it this weekend. I've read all the horror stories and am preparing myself for the worst, any tips before exposing my 14 year old son/assistant to language he doesn't need to...
Anybody wrapped area between tail lights black? I know there are panels that mount in this area, wrapping just seems easier and cleaner (less bulky)...
Please post pics if you've done so.
Let's get a thread full of pics and options that makes the daily questions about sizes and offsets more readily accessible and searchable.
Post up your wheel and tire setups here, including as much fitment info (wheel sizes, offsets and tire sizes) as possible.
*If* it can be tuned this way, it's great for all the modded "base" guys who want to add an oil cooler to help with elevated oil and coolant temp readings, but it's infuriating that Ford went to all these lengths to create this whole set of tables, parameters, and algorithms instead of just...
It looks like it just clips in, is that it? Or does that small "lip" on the bottom mean the console has to be removed?
I could have sworn I remember someone saying the screen has to come out, I just can't see why it would need to.
Anyone taken this off before have any tips, warnings, or advice?
Noticed these two spots on my glass when cleaning it the other day and don't remember them being there previously... They're right at each end of the trunk seal, not sure if they're to indicate that location or something is wrong with my window.
If you zoom in they're perfect triangles, which...
Another option would be to find a 25 DH somewhere, Ford is offering $3500 rebates on them currently, I upgraded from my 25 GT to a 25 DH last week and got the DH for ~$12k off MSRP.
