Nice work Adam,
I've also been browsing shift knobs recently but don't want one with paint or powder coating on it. My wedding ring has chipped all the paint off the shifter in my current car.
Have you fitted the black exhaust tips yet,? A video on that would be great cause I've ordered them...
Was about to say the same thing about the Bronco, the older versions are still a popular choice for people into off road hill climbs and the like.
To me it's like a cross between an FJ Cruiser and a Jeep Wrangler
And wheels
Not that mine is built I'm ok that they've discontinued the black pack and Atlas Blue and made the 10R80 a no cost option by bumping the base price up by 2-3k
Good info, my flow brackets arrive today in prep for delivery sometime late Dec. Have already told the dealer I want mine installed not the one's it comes with.
Seems like they might be more trouble than they're worth, esp if it means cutting/shortening factory studs to fit them or removing them for service/tyre changes and potential warranty/insurance issues.
Good to know, thanks.
Ok, I'm confused now.
Looking at what ALM's done I don't think there is a need for a plinth as you can use the angled spacers for the front and the factory points at the back to fit flow design brackets directly to the car.
Am I missing something here? Do GT's come off the boat with factory...
Thanks bfets will keep an eye out for it. Sounds like I should take it somewhere and check it instead of ordering online and doing it myself.
This vid from Steeda is a good reference for Mustang owners if anyone else is thinking of doing it
I emailed the dealer today advising that I've ordered the flow design brackets and would they mind fitting them. As part of the email linked them to your vid on YT as a visual "how to" on top of the written instructions.
The ETA is just an estimate but it's hovered around 21st to 24th Dec since June and I'm hoping it'll be on one of these two vessels (preferably the Tosca)
Edit: ETA is to the dealer, it'll take them a few days to prep it
Well it's 8 weeks today till my ETA and no vessel name on Vista yet, she's just sitting on the dock of the bay.
In the mean time I'm checking out what size spacers to put on it when it arrives (can't afford to change the wheels yet), thinking 1/2" would be enough based on these photos...
Just ordered my flow design brackets for NSW slimline plates and threw in the offset spacers and Kingpin covers as well.
NSW has different sized plates front and back for the slimline style so you'll need to add two different brackets to your cart (although they look the same in the pictures)
What a crock of shit, did they provide any evidence or was it just some EPA chump (probably in Lyra) sipping a latte?
Humans are unable to determine what is legal or not by ear, you shouldn't need to get it tested or pay for the testing.
