I'm talking to my neighbour about PPF. He's had an M3, M5 and an X50M filmed at a guy close to us who uses Suntek.
I'm lucky enough to have seen the results of this guys work first hand over a 2 year period and he seems to know what he's doing (edges wrapped, removes badges to film under them...
Hi Brumby,
I ordered on 21/4/23, I was sweating on getting the Black Pack once I found out they were dropping it and my segmentation date had been pushing out from June->July->Aug->Sep.
Got lucky suppose. I think its one of the last builds with this option coming our way.
Considering asking...
Thanks bfets, I checked the tool and my car doesn't show up - makes sense as my build date was outside the window.
I feel bad for those affected, just adds an additional sour taste on top of an excruciating wait.
Asking selfishly, but do you think they're going to hold ALL deliveries, or just those affected by the recall? Surely it's just the latter but this is Ford we're talking about.
Tosca left Baltimore last night on its way down under.
My Vista status (as of this morning) still has an ETA to the dealer of 22/12 but no vessel name.
I'm hoping it just means there's a few days lag between loading the ship and updating Vista.
Anyone know if this is likely or can advise if...
Here the latest WW ship schedule to Pt Kembla for those interested. I'm hoping mine is on the Tosca given my ETA to the dealer is 21/12 - but no word on a vessel name as of last Fri which is concerning.
I love those wheels, makes it look a lot "meaner".
Am definitely considering something similar for mine (if it ever arrives) from a local supplier, which could be tough to find.
You can get new TPMS from Mustang Motorsport for $230. MM are stating that the TPMS below are 433MHz but suit S550's...
It's a pretty crappy system when you can get a notice in the mail based on what someone hears or perceives as noisy without any physical evidence to back it up.
Unfortunately the cops et al can issue notices in this manner in various states. I've heard stories of them following cars and...
Thanks Roadpilot, its prob something I should ask the dealer and insurer to see if we're covered over here, unless someone local already knows the answer.
Great stuff Adam, looks good and will compliment S650's with the black pack nicely considering those tips are almost the only bit of chrome on a GT with the black pack (we get chrome lug nuts with the gloss black wheels for some silly reason)
Wasn't expecting a shout out but happy to...
They're the GTD wheels aren't they?
Interesting statement about the ECU locking, even an aftermarket catback exhaust will trigger the engine light and it can't be turned off.
That is interesting, cause If they damage or worse smash it I'm not sure if Insurance would cover it without having to pay an enormous excess here in Australia. We generally have to nominate which ppl are authorised to drive it to set your premium and min excess, anyone not at that list and the...
I was literally looking at the exact some photos yesterday in one of the US threads :). This car also has a 1" Ford Performance lowering kit on it if I'm not mistaken.
There's also photos of one with gloss black finish on the rims as well.
I believe these rims colour is called "Graphite" or...
Ha, no way a divorce would cheaper!
Thanks for the response on the exhaust tips, reckon I was overthinking it. WIl prob just take them off occasionally as you mentioned
