I have a co-worker that has a 24 GT, he said he has a clicking coming from the back window where water will freeze on the trunk seal and tap the glass until it melts off.

I have not experienced this issue as of yet. 🤷‍♂️

I am putting my stock wheels back on when the weather warms up also, so I didn't have a huge desire to modify my studs from that standpoint also.

I mean, 5mm isn't very much in terms of wheel spacing. I went with a 25mm spacers and didn't cut anything. Got the look I was after also with the wheels for the application.

Your best bet would be to find a set of take offs that you like with a quality tire on them. With that budget you are getting wheel OR tires(assuming you want a quality tire that will say connected to the road). Unless you have a tire shop at school you also need to factor mounting and balancing...

Ultimate all any lock does is keep and honest thieves honest. After 30+ years in the industry I have removed my share of wheel locks due to lost keys/removal tools. These hardened chrome ones are probably the biggest PIA to actually remove, but not impossible.

Love the concept, honestly looks like it will get pinched by the gasket every time it closes though. I would think that installing on the other side of the latch would rectify the issue.

Your good to go. Most of us ignore the line in the owners manual that says the torque on the lug nuts should be checked after the first 100 or 150 miles anyhow. (I don't remember the exact number) Doing so would ensure that you are good to go.

I guess we could always find taller lug nuts to make the locks look less stupid. 🤣 In reality I can't see it from the driver's seat anyhow, lol.

Nope exactly the same price for insurance. I specifically ordered the Dark Horse because I wanted the Dark Blue Ember color with the DH wing. I also don't buy cars as investments, I buy them to drive and enjoy or serve a purpose.

I have a dark horse with the PP. I took the 305/315's off for the winter and put on 255/275 Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus 3 UHP All Season on a set of GT PP wheels for winter driving. They seem to stick well, not as good as the Trefeos in the heat, but well enough for the bit of winter driving...

While that may be the case in some areas, I know the owner of this dealership franchise. That is not the case here. His Toyota's sell almost as fast as he can get them in. He has multiple brands all over the MD/VA area and the other brands all have 3-5 times the inventory On the lot.
