Ahh!
That explains why my tip with the paint defect was unwrapped - Burg were inspecting.
It also explains why the URL I posted now returns a 404.
Total from Burg was $342.95 including postage.
It's good that they are continually seeking to improve products.
As you say, the small blemish will...
I'm a bit old school when it comes to manuals myself, but given the terrible lack of visuals in this manual (because it's so damn cost-cutting generic), with some topics being a mere sentence pointing out the obvious, it seems like a waste of time and paper (even duplex printing on both sides)...
A quick recce out to the Port of Brisbane and yep, it's there!
I present to you, the Titania.
Images taken 2 hours ago.
There were 17 Mustangs all in a row.
Out of that, one convertible and three Dark Horses that I could make out.
I know it was a drunken night, but I wonder... could...

At least the steering wheel is on the correct side! :giggle:
Probably the final delivery before the delivery!
After reading horror stories about slicing fingers open when detailing around the [razor sharp] exhaust tips, these were a no-brainer.
From Burg Design in Melbourne, a set of quad exhaust tips in "Titanium Black".
There is a paint defect on...
Totally agree.
When you peel away the marketing BS, most of the films in their respective price brackets appear much the same.
You could get the most expensive XYZ and if it's installed badly, then what's the point?
Just found this from RACQ, which I trust more than a brochure written by professional BS artists (marketing people).
Ceramic films have no metallic content to begin with, so the "signal friendly" is just marketing fluff.
I've come to conclusion that all the mid-range films are much the same...
For those waiting on Titania, four days of drifting around just off Moreton Island comes to an end tomorrow.
Status into Port of Brisbane has changed from planned to scheduled, with a 5pm arrival slot.
One could go crazy watching this unfold! :wait: 🤪
Hi mate,
Jake here from Bespoke Window Tinting.
In regards to Tinting your Ford Mustang, I have three film options, which are IR Xtreme, Ceramic Xtreme & HP Xtreme.
🚘IR Xtreme is constructed with an inter-layer of titanium nitride particles for extreme infrared rejection, making IRX the...
Ringing around continues...
Another local tinter in SW Brisbane offers a different range of tint films, the better one being Genesis.
$495 to do a Mustang.
This tinter actually did the tinting for the dealer where I'm getting my car from, so they are very familiar with Mustangs.
Things I...
I just spoke to a local Tint.a.Car franchise in Milton, and they claim to have done "heaps" of Mustangs.
Ballpark pricing is as follows:
Spectre $695
Octane $595
Black Panther is an eye-watering $995
Being independent businesses, it also pays to check reviews.
The Tint.a.Car in Moorooka has...
With Mustang delivery fast approaching, thoughts are concentrating on window tinting.
My last brand new vehicle purchase is approaching 30 years ago!
Back then I had window tint by Tint.a.Car fitted to the MY1995 Toyota 4Runner.
(Paperwork from back then is long gone, so I don't know what...
With MY24.50 Mustangs having arrived down under, and the media embargo lifted recently, reviews can be found on Youtube and various automotive websites.
And this, published before the media embargo ended. (?)
Automotive websites...
I have a sneaking suspicion that this will happen to Titania (enroute from Auckland) before it docks at Brisbane.
When I looked at the WW schedule a few days ago (no, I'm not obsessed, really! :giggle: ) it suggested Titania would be in Brisbane Sep 21 and leaving Sep 22.
That's now changed...
Assembly offline suggests it was built , and ahead of the last provided segmentation date.
Remember, segmentation can move all over the place +/-.
Gate release is when it has passed QC and is ready for transport.
Hopefully, the update has just caught a snapshot of where it is in between...
Unlike metallic colours which can be more interesting under different lighting conditions, I felt my Oxford White GT would need something to help dress it up...
Back from a recent work trip to the States, and it was time to liberate these vinyl graphics from Mustang Restyled out of their...
