I wasn't looking for this, but coincidentally came across a text message I sent to a friend last year, linking to an article about Ford announcing the FX Package for the 2026 model year. At that time, it wasn't stated if Adriatic Blue would be available across the line or was just for the FX...
Several years ago, my cousin went out to start a car that he hadn't driven for a few weeks. The battery had power, but the engine wouldn't turn. He looked under the hood and found that the engine bay was packed tight with walnuts. Squirrels had decided to use the engine compartment for a...
Either that, or Ford is going to start the new model year later than it has been doing the last several years. According to this article from Ford Authority, the refresh is happening in "late 2026."
It's hard to guess. With the S197 generation, they ran for five model years before doing a reskin and interior overhaul, then followed up with powertrain improvements one year later. With the S550, they did just three model years before changing a bunch of stuff.
At this time, Ford no...
So your theory is that the federal government will forbid the sale of new belts and hoses for cars manufactured before current safety equipment was mandated? You do realize that you can still buy belts, hoses, tires, etc. for cars too old to have airbags and antilock brakes, right?
What? No government confiscated people's EV-1s. This was an experimental car, and General Motors did not sell them. They leased them out and did not give the leasees the option to buy them after the lease expired. You can question the wisdom of the whole program, but it was always GM's...
I am checking this site and Ford Authority every day, keeping an eye out for information on the 2027 Mustang. If they are doing a styling refresh and it's going to be prettier, then I will wait until the order banks are open for the 2027 MY. If it's changing and will be uglier, I need to visit...
The front end of the Saleen Mustang is by far my favorite element of it. If I had an S650 and could buy the Saleen front clip and not have to change the hood, I would seriously think about it. To my eyes, it is by far the best-looking Mustang front end for the 7th generation.
Editing notes: "Rushing" and "too fast" are redundant; I suggest deleting "too fast." Replace "necessarily" with "thought you." Add a comma after "typed." Decapitalize "God."
Sorry. I couldn't resist.
I will be interested in finding out, as well. There are still variables that make it uncertain whether we'll be ready to order this summer or will have to wait until fall.
All of the Ecoboost Mustangs are autos since the 2024 model year. So there must be plenty of GTs with manuals, but not in my area. If I look online for new Mustang GTs in the Nashville-to-Knoxville area, they are almost all automatics. And forget about Performance Pack. There is a 100%...
It is interesting that Steeda is using a centrifugal supercharger when almost everyone else uses positive displacement. To me, it looks like the centrifugal is more advantageous. I don't know why centrifugal superchargers aren't more popular.
