That's what I thought. I remember an old Chevy Blazer I had back in the early 70s. It would pullup all kinds of crap from the road until I purchased a "deflector" from the dealer. Much better.
I washed mine today. My battery powered leaf blower (530 CFM EGO) did a good job (on highest speed). Problem is the battery got overheated and the blower shutdown about 95% done. I expect it will do a faster job once I get Ceramic on the 13th.
How well does the leaf blower work? I've been thinking about trying that. The microfiber towel I use does a good job until it gets saturated. I can't squeeze it out like I used to do with a Chamois. I ended up buying a second large microfiber towel.
Perhaps I need to look a bit closer to my wheels. I haven't noticed brake dust (dark wheels). However, I only have 400 miles on the car. Now my 2003 Mini-Cooper (silver painted wheels). That was bad news and not easy to clean off.
I'm 77 and love every second (and 3rd, and 4th, ...).
I do a lot of in town driving so I get the opportunity to shift a lot. The MT82 is fine for my purposes (no tracking or dragging).
You drive a cleaner life than I do! I'm up to 400 miles and about to give her another bath. I hate handling the trunk area (open/close) with all that dust/dirt. My Ceramic appointment is on the 13th of this month. After that I may not be as touchy.
I've had my GT for a months now and have noticed the back gets quite dusty/dirty whereas the rest of the vehicle stay clean (no rain). I am guessing the rear spoiler/wing is setting up eddy currents that pulls air up from the street.
Thoughts?
BTW: That only happened the first time I tried it. Built-in Nav is now working as expected. I have no clue what I did.
I am having issues with Apple CarPlay & Pandora. It was always connected to Pandora on my phone and draining the iPhone battery. I wasn't using anything on my phone! I was...
I'm an old guy at 77. Thinking; "Whatever I end up with will probably be my last car."
When I was looking to buy back in December of 2023, the DH really peaked my interest. Problem is the ADM was $20K in Central Florida! That's over $80K!
The sales manager suggested I look at a fully loaded...
