  1. 2024 Mustang GT Quality Control

Sorry to hear your car arrived in that condition. If it were me, I'd have the scuff marks and scratches taken care of at a body shop or by a professional detailer. Sorry, I don't trust dealers for body work. I've been using the same body shop for for over 20 years. They do a ton of custom work...
  2. Mustang Unleashed

What a great way to spend the day with your son. :like:
  3. Quality and Concerns

Personally, if I had that many problems I'd switch brands. My '24 wouldn't start after 300 miles and spent a few days at the dealership. They eventually replaced the "gateway module" whatever that is, and it's been fine since. It's funny that prices keep going up and quality keeps going down...
  4. Car Soap Shootout with DFB

When I got home from Vietnam I bought a new '69 Plymouth Roadrunner. I used Joy dish soap to wash it. 😳 It's amazing how car care products have evolved over the years. Thank you for taking the time to share your expertise. Great information. :like:
  5. Fords in house ceramic coating and exterior/interior treatments.

I agree. Probably have some young kid applying it who doesn't have a clue about what he's doing. Should be plenty of "professional" choices out there besides your Ford dealership.
  6. Update to yesterday’s post regarding unsettling motion in rear suspension. DEALER LEFT BOLTS UNTIGHTENED

I had something similar happen on my C5 Corvette. Took it to an alignment shop and they forgot to tighten some bolts on the rearend. The first time I got on it the car veered sharply to the left and I nearly lost control of it. Scared the crap out of me. Took it to my Corvette tech at my...
  7. Get More Horsepower with Steeda's Pro-Flow S650 Cold Air Intake for GT and Dark Horse!

Great video. Nice to see the different comparisons. It's obvious from the various comments that this CAI isn't for everyone. I get it. There are those who don't want to spend that kind of money. There are others who will. You're never going to please everyone. Steeda is offering a new product...
  8. Issue after getting rear axel and hub replaced. Dealer refuses to diagnose.

Let me get this straight. Ford builds and hypes the Mustang GT as a "performance" car, but the dealer won't "hammer" it to see if there's a specific problem? If they design and build a car, they should have a way to diagnose or reproduce a problem. If they don't want to take on the...
  9. Why would you do that? - A thread

Who knows, it might be very popular at Christmas. 😉
  10. Where to buy rims/tires

Got my new wheels/tires from Project 6GR. Great people to deal with. I had a problem with my TPMS calibration and they went out of their way to make sure I was happy. I'd order wheels from them again.
  11. I bought my brand new 2024 Mustang for $28,250

Beautiful car. :like: Love the color. Enjoy.
  12. My Mustang Story

So sorry for your loss. What an absolutely beautiful story. I have a feeling there's an angel in your passenger seat every time you go for a drive. God Bless.
  13. Touch screen lag

I agree. Technology is a great thing, but I think Ford went a little overboard. Just give me the basics please.
  14. Typewriter Tick/ BBQ tick fact compilation?

Mine ticked after the first oil change, but then quieted down. Haven't heard it since.
  15. Twin Turbo Dark Horse Install is Complete

Beautiful car. :like: Horsepower? How did you tune it?
  16. Anyone use the Sunglass cubby

If you park facing the sun and keep the windows rolled up, you can keep that taco warm all day.😉
  17. Gloss Black or Satin Black on an Oxford White Dark Horse

I vote for gloss black. Easier to clean than a satin finish. Mine came with satin wheels and I replaced them with gloss black. Had gloss black on both of my Z06's, which were Arctic White.
  18. NHTSA 24S49 Safety Recall - Inspect Rear Knuckle

Received a letter yesterday informing me of the recall on my car.
