I had a black 1977 Trans Am and a black 1996 Mercedes. It's difficult to beat the looks of a black car when it's clean, but as someone else mentioned, they require more care. Personally, I'd never own another one.
Call me crazy, but I've thought about changing my caliper color to a lime green or Lamborghini orange. I've had a number of calipers powder coated over the years. It's kind of a pain in the butt. You have to remove them, take them apart, and reassemble them. If it's your only car, the down time...
I agree. At the end of the day, you're the one paying for it. Personally, I don't care for the bronze wheels, but I've never had the corner on the market for good taste. If it puts a smile on your face that's all that matters.
