I would install the k brace. It will help. I bought one because I had planned on purchasing a regular GT for commute and put the SBT on. E thing arrived and I didn't know what a K brace was. I ended up getting a GT Premium PP and sold the sbt and k brace.

Purchase two GTs about this time of year, they cheaper. One in 6 speed for town etc, and one with an A10 for the strip. Use street modes for 6 speed, and race mods for A10 for serious racing. I know a person who's used a whippled S550 with GT350 shafts for years without problems.
